Pros:
Ah, my home course! Conditions here got a welcomed upgrade ahead of last year's Finnish Nationals, with improved teepads and all new baskets donated by Innova. The course layout has not seen a total revamp in many years, and for a good reason; holes are generally as well designed as they could be here, and some trees have been cut to improve playability on certain holes.
While the course is not that challenging overall, there's a few holes that put your skills to a test if you even want the par. Also, given the course location right at the coast, winds can really pick up and occasionally rival the midwest US.
Cons:
Perhaps the biggest thing bringing down the score is tall grass in mid-summer. Narrowish fairways are cut regularly, but most people usually aren't that accurate with their throws and finding discs can be time-consuming. Things get easier in August when the whole park is shaved off.
Many teesigns are still out of date after recent changes, but this is expected to be remedied fairly soon. At times the baskets and teesigns have been subject to annoying vandalism, but the community is very quick in especially fixing the baskets.
Due to the course being within an urban area and the rising popularity of disc golf in the country, it can be really crowded during late afternoon and evening hours. Combined with other factors mentioned before it can cause major backups on certain holes.
Other Thoughts:
Overall this is an enjoyable course thanks to diverse holes and a beautiful setting. If you're around town in winter time, the course is well playable even then and there's actually an annual winter league running from January to March.
