Quick Course with Variety 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 1, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

Very well taken care of with nicely groomed fairways and several benches. Easy to navigate. Good variety of holes on such a short course.

Cons:

Parking is rough. I parked on the side of the road but it doesn't seem to be a super busy road which helped. Tee pads were inconsistent.

Other Thoughts:

Overall this was a very fun course to play. I was in the area and though this looked like a fun round and i was right. There are several open holes that allow beginners to really air out their arms but are good mid/fairway holes for the more advanced player. I really enjoyed the wooded holes. They were well laid out in such a small space. Even though the teepads were inconsistent in their material definitely glad to have them.

You can tell this course is still developing but I was really surprised and happy with how well it played. Definitely glad I stopped and played a round....just wish I had time for another one!

Tight fairways and scenic river 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Jul 21, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

Munster has an improving course that will eventually become an eighteen basket course that features multiple tee shots. Several drives flank the river and care should be taken when driving but there is room on the bank to catch errant throws. The course winds it way into the woods with dog lakes curving in various directions. After the wooded drives on the west side of the course, players will walk over to the original side of the course that is more open. Most shots have birdie potential. The course is being put together by locals so some tees are rubber and others are brick and the baskets vary as well. Benches and chairs are to be found at some of the tees. The course is well groomed and in great condition.

Cons:

The lack of amenities such as a washroom, standard parking lot and water fountain is a bit of a drawback. Also, as the course expands, I did not see any map indicating where the new fairways were. I predict this will be solved soon. The Little Calumet flows to the north of the course and a disc flying into the water will be very hard to find. The tall grass on the bank will swallow up discs too.

Other Thoughts:

This course is well played and seems to be bit busy. The short distances make playing this twice or thrice tempting.

Get Ready to Rumble 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 10, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

Baskets are in great shape

Grass was mowed, well taken care of

Trash cans at the start and in the middle of the Course

The area is dedicated to the Course, could be be people hanging out at it potentially, but it's not a park that is designed for that...it's a Disc Golf Park.

Cons:

Parking area is a bit tight to the street

If you require quiet in your Round, the sounds from the Highway just about 30yds from the Course may not be for your liking....

Other Thoughts:

I love big, monster Courses, where you have to walk and look for the Basket, and when you see it, you say 'Damn! Over there?!?'...

But I also enjoy playing small 9-holer's, that some may overlook. River's Edge is cool. Nice section of land, with a bit of hills, and woods, just enough to really learn on for beginners and a fun Round for more experienced players.

If you're in the area, give it a try!
