Pros:

- Rosendale provides its students and the local population with a serviceable 12 hole course upon the school campus. Mostly flat and open, the course starts near the front parking lot, meanders around the school and its facilities, and winds up near the beginning.
- Decent baskets and signs. Grass tee pads. None were rutted or muddy and provide decent enough footing.
- For the land available, the course does a fair job of incorporating the scattered trees. A couple of holes run alongside some woods edging the property, but no hole could be considered "wooded."
- Apple trees on hole #4. Have a treat while discin'!
- A fair variety of hole types: open, open with scattered trees, hyzer along a woodline (#12), anny along a wood-line (#9).

Cons:

- The two best terrain features on the property were not used. The highest spot of elevation between #'s 6 and 7 isn't utilized, despite making a great spot for either #6's basket or #7's tee. Also, the small pond in between hole #'s 9 and 10 isn't used, despite the water carry being a fair enough distance.
- Most holes can be easily reached with a putter or a mid, as nothing breaks 300'.
- The signage is often pointing in strange directions. Without tees to know which direction to shoot, one or two spots might get a bit tricky if you're not paying attention.

Other Thoughts:

- All discers are REQUIRED to check into the school office prior to play during school days when school is in session.
- Overall, Rosendale is an above average less-than 18 hole beginner's course. Nothing here will stun a seasoned disc golfer, but it's serviceable in a pinch. One disc rounds or safari golf might make this course more exciting.
