Pros:
New baskets. A few interesting holes. Pretty park, a lot of elevation changes. Shorter holes, but many are hard due to major elevation change. Close to interstate.
Cons:
I played in a light rain, which made some of the hills impossible to walk up/down, and the teepads were all soupy because they aren't concrete. Most of the teepads were hilly, puddled, short, and one even had a massive root running the entire length of the pad sloping on both sides making the teepad completely useless. Maybe I am a snob but I can't stand a teepad that is nowhere near flat, and there were several here. The tee signs only tell you distance and par. They don't tell you where the basket is I.e. Left/right. There was no gap on hole 9. This course needs a ton of work to make it playable, and even then I am not crazy about the design of many of the holes. You are forced to throw your disc nose up(like 45 degrees nose up)a lot to get up the hills and there are a ton of sidearm shots off the pad. Probably 60% fh shots and 40% bh off the pad.
Other Thoughts:
If you are just driving through Asheville like I was, play Richmond hills, don't stop here. I was not impressed.
