Basic <300ft par 3 course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 21, 2020 Played the course:once

Pros:

I mean... Its the generic 9 hole course thats put in a public park with soccer and baseball fields. Good warm up course to stretch out your arm.

Cons:

No tees at all. Only 1 challenging shot.

Other Thoughts:

Basic <300ft par 3 course. Make a rule where all sidewalks are OB and it plays a little more fun.

Nice recreational course. 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Aug 26, 2015 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Challenging for new players and people who play for fun. Nice use of the park to provide obstacles using the small hills, pond, and river.

Cons:

Maybe not quite challenging enough for tournament players. Holes #1 and #2 are near private property and seem like they are on the private property, but they are on park property.

Other Thoughts:

The course currently has grass tee offs but plans are to install concrete pads in the future. Also a possibility of a second tee box for each hole in the future if the course receives enough use for the city to think it is worthwhile.

Lovely Little Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 4, 2015 Played the course:once

Pros:

-There are various hazards in this course from elevation changes, curved fairways, water hazards, and tree obstacles.
-Nice scenery as you play along the river.
-The course is very well maintained with the grass being mowed and trimmed and the baskets were in good shape.

Cons:

-The first two-three holes are on "Private Property?" I felt uncomfortable playing these when there were signs posted every few feet stating to the effect that you were not allowed to walk in these peoples' backyards. But, that is where the tee-offs and baskets were so trespass I did. Even the practice basket was close to the park border.
-Park is extremely busy so watch out for pedestrians near the softball/soccer fields and on the bike path.
-There are no concrete tee-off pads, just a short strip in the lawn to mark where it is near each sign.

Other Thoughts:

The main thing that concerned me was how the course was set up in peoples' backyards. I quickly played through this area because of it. Otherwise, the course was in excellent shape. The first hole is on the northwest corner of the parking lot and I see they posted a sign now to the streetlight to help direct people in the right direction.

To most experienced disc golfers, the fairways may be too short. But, I thought this was great for beginners and people who want to spend some time on an evening or weekend to take in a round or two.

-Good layout that offers a few easier holes and a few challenging holes

Cons:

-Some people might have a problem with the tees because they are grass, it was fine with me
-The practice basket is in a bad location

Other Thoughts:

A new disc golf course that has good scenery.
