Quiet peaceful round of golf. 2+ years

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 18, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

Fairly newer course in a very pleasant park. Baskets were in good shape and most, but not all lines were well defined. Very peaceful round of discing with the course all to ourselves.

Cons:

Course is kinda hard to navigate being that their isn't really the normal tee signs most people are used to seeing. Just look for these red plastic poles that have the tee number on them. The baskets themselves are not numbered. And their isn't even a map to look at at the park. The only one I found online is blurry and hard to understand. Some basket to tee pad placement puts some picnic areas into play...especially #3 near the log cabin. Holes #4, #5, & #6 are holes you definitely DO NOT want to go right on being that everything right is downhill a long ways...all the way down to the water. In the main part of the park the holes are pretty maintained as far as the grass being cut. Holes #4 & #6 could use some TLC but it is a newer course that still isn't broke in yet. Also hole #9, after completing you have to backtrack back towards the tee pad to the right to either start the back 9 or walk back to your car. Just make sure to watch out for flying disc's if anybody was right behind you.

Other Thoughts:

This is a very pleasant 9 holes that I rather enjoyed. I played with my family which includes a 4 and a 2 year-old with no problems. The kids liked seeing all the wildlife we saw during our round including a red fox that was 30 feet away from us near hole's #1 & #2. Wear appropriate clothing and bug repellent being that there are walks between holes that you have to walk through the weeds or paths that are slightly over grown. Another 9 is in the future works but not yet complete. Overall I like the course and think with some upgrades of cement tee pads, proper tee signs, and another 9 holes...this can be a really great course. Keep up the good work!
