Good little course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Sep 1, 2014 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

Owners are great, good little pro shop, food selection, welcoming atmosphere and price. Short, quick course.

Cons:

Signage is poor, paths aren't cut that well. It's a new course, so work is ongoing. Plans to make course more accessible and paths smoother, etc. I wouldn't suggest this course for a new person.

Other Thoughts:

Keep your drivers are home for this one. Putters and mids ought to do it. Very, very technical and short course.

Overall, it's a fun little course if you want to 'rough it' and play some technical, shorter stuff. I'm excited to see how the owners help the course progress over the next year or two.

Locals & Kids only 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Apr 10, 2014 Played the course:once

Pros:

Quirky layout and terrain are perfect for kids to run about. Does have pads and baskets as advertised. Had signage, but due to tree density basket locations not apparent to first time players.

Cons:

Fairways run into one another all over the course, potentially dangerous. Lacks cohesive fairways and flow. Baskets have been deliberately placed next to and among trees.

Other Thoughts:

Course designer is obviously a fan of elevated & blocked baskets. Having played in ME, NH, & MA, I have seen enough courses, this is what I would characterize as a short trick shot course, (even that requires a significant amount of luck). The layout is packed together and narrow- lots of obstructive trees, more than one normally encounters.
