what are some other discs that fly close to the same (speed and flight path) as an Eagle X? dont care what company it is (for the most part) TIA

Are all other Eagles so much different from the Eagle X that they wouldn't be a close match?

Why would you want to quit throwing Eagles?

just for when, becuase i know itll happen, innova decides to change the mold for eagles again id like so have somthing else to look to for that type of shot...i dont plan on quiting throwing them any time soon, they are great discs

More Eagles. They won't be in short supply anytime soon so stock up on the ones you like.

LOL, Innova is not going to change the mold any time soon. Eagle X has such a cult following and has so many sales, they would have to be f-ing nuts to change it.

the metal molds may not change, but the plastic formula might, which could have different cooling properties that as the disc cools, it changes the fundamental shape of the disc.

as previously mentioned strikers are close... a bit wider wing, but nothing to lose sleep over.

I have thrown eagles, cyclones and gazelles interchangeably, although the cyclone is not as good in wind, and the gazelle is straighter. they are both slower too.

There is no replacing the Eagle-X mold. Period.

It is the principle reason why I could never ditch Innova for Discraft entirely...

The EXP1 from Millennium shares the same bottom wing as the eagle. The newer ones in pro plastic fly like an eagle too. The older CE ones fly like the beefiest eagle you could imagine plus some.

While there's still allot of them around, they're OOP.

Seriously, there's no reason at all to worry about the the Eagle X going away, nor being able to find replacements or back ups for the ones you like. It would be like Innova discontinuing the the Aviar or Roc, it's not going to happen.
