Did a search and couldn't find a thread just like this and was curious.. I recently got a star valk 150 class that has changed my game a lot. I've added distance and accuracy.

Anyone else had this happen?

DX Roc. I found a super beat up one when I was starting out and loved it. It has evolved from just being a disc in my bag to being my mold for all shots 230<x<300

Beat in DX Stingray I got in a trade on here. My forehand stinks! But a RHBH with this disc is sweet!

My Valks.
I started with a DX one just because I needed something understable, even though I never threw it.
I bought a Champ one use to work on rehabbing the RHBH and haven't looked back yet.

The River. Such a great disc! First disc I broke 350' with. I carry 4 in my bag: 161g GL(hyzer flips & turnovers), 168g Opto (Straight & S-curves), 171g GL(little fade) and a new domey 175g GL (decent fade).

Star XD. It's perfectly between my putter and buzz. Now on the holes that I could come up short with my putter or go to long with my buzzz I throw the star xd and park it. Honestly its the truest flying disc made when seasoned IMO.

Every one of my discs bring something to my game, or I would put them in a closet and never throw them.

But the most 'unexpected' one was the Leopard. I only got one because everyone kept talking about them. It was understable, but unlike the Archangel, Roadrunner, or Monarch, the Leopard is very predictable.

When I got one max weight, and found out I could release it on a hyzer, and it flew straight as an arrow, all my fear of playing wooded courses disappeared. In fact, I am very aggressive on tight courses now because of the Leopard and what I can do with it. It had the most unexpected impact on my game.

Star Orc. I threw tried throwing Wraith's all the way up to Boss's and I had terrible OAT. I stopped throwing drivers completely and played for a month straight with just Roc's and Putters. After that I picked up some star Orcs from a friends and they changed my game. I am getting close to 400 ft. now with these and my form is correct. It isn't too fast/ too slow or too flippy/overstable. Both Star Orc's I have are 7/10 and have changed my game.

KC Pro Aviar. Not because it's done wonders for my putting (nothing could help that), but because it has eliminated my need for mid-range discs on shots under 250'. It's my miracle disc and I use it for short/long/right/left/straight shots. No need for mid-range 'specialty' discs anymore, this is my one stop shop all in the form of a putter.

three way tie

Champ roc - I throw two champ roc molds; one westsayeed and one 06' throwback. No better overstable mid out there.

PP Aero - I started throwing my old Aero for the nostalgia, but at this point any upshot 120' and in its my aero. This may not seem like a big deal but the ability to shape lines over short distances can help access tough greens.

Axis - No better dead nuts straight mid up to 325'. What the champ roc did for my overstable mid game the Axis did for my dead straight mid game.

I don't wanna sound like a fan boy here but the entire lat 64 changed my game up completely my exta D on my first throw. I haven't looked back fuse, pain, river, striker, diamond, and flow have gotten me from losing to my friends who have played 2-3 years longer than me to me staying with them and beating them consistly every week. But now that I type this lol wizards have helped my putting game more n more everyday.

I would have to agree with mdykas. Latitude64 has changed my game completely as well. The plastic is so money, it's like you never lose grip. That being said, I just switched to wizards for putting duties. That disc also has changed my game alot too.

No disc has changed my game. Its not the disc, its the player.

Comet, it just has such a low power requirement that it opens options you don't get from many discs.
