World's who will take it?

John E Mac is definitely a contender as long as his alarm clock works.

It actually worked in Augusta, he just didn't know the start time for the semi finals was earlier than it was the rest of the week.

Another name is Aaron Walther from St. Louis. He came to our B-Tier in Evansville two weekends ago and slaughtered the advanced field. Apparently shot a 1030 round up at the Majestic. And he's a lefty.

i didnt look close enough to see if schimmy or walther were regged but i would definitely give walther a shot, he has been tearing tourneys up all year, his travel buddy (gary suarez) is deep on the mm1 waitlist so walther may have caddy, which could help on those 2 round days...

Schimmelpfenning isn't playing Worlds, which is a shame because I think he would put up a serious fight.
If Daniel Allgeier can get his putting going, he has a chance at making noise from a "lower rated" spot (951).
Priest, Huether and Ulmer are all legit contenders, as is Scott Vaughn. In fact, I'd imagine all the Charlotte Super Ams are contenders. I am only stating the names I recognize.

Lefties have an advantage on the courses we are playing, ESPECIALLY RL Smith. Take time to look up Andy Wiler, Brad Ramsey, and Scott Smith from Charlotte. I would bet that one of them makes the top 10 and a great possibility to make the finals. Be sure to have Brad or Andy on any Fantasy team. Oh, don't forget Charlie Coleman and Chase Jernigan from NC as well. Charlie is doing well turning down cash in Pro and Chase has been strong for years.

In advanced, I could honestly see 8 NCers in the top 10.

Out of Andy Wiler, Brad Ramsey, Scott Smith, Paul Priest, Mark Heuther, Chase Jernigan, Brad Allison, David Weaver, Matt Gill, Rich Burnette, Aaron Rothock, Charlie Coleman, I think you have your champion and 8 top 10 guys.

He came in and won Advanced in the KCWO by 7 strokes or so. I played a round with him at the STL and he's a pretty nice guy. He gave me a ride so I didn't have to walk so far. It's always fun playing with another lefty. :thmbup:

Open= MJ. Jerm, or Doss
Masters= Barry or Phil
Ladies= Allen
Am= Brad Ramsey or mr. Wilkes County. I would be very suprised if one of the super Ams from NC didn't take it. Hell after worlds the open division will explode in north carolina. The Ams need to be glad that digital isn't playing kids on frickin fire right now.

For the <19 Juniors, watch out for Phillip-Tyler Belt and Mason Carruth. They both have made several trips to Charlotte to familiarize themselves with the courses, so they know what to expect ... and are very good players on top of that.

Am cointenders

Brad Ramsey has to be in the mix--a local Charlotte dude that won the 2011 Clash and the 2012 Clash and 2012 Charlotte Am Championship. These last 2 wins boosted him into a 990+ rating. He knows the courses, and has consistently beaten Priest and 1978 in competition; all 3 are good possibilities to be in the AM finals.
