Looking for that over-stable 100'-200' upshot disc.. contemplating between these 4. At the moment I have no idea which one to go with. I don't really like the feeling of R-Pro plastic, and I don't feel like paying that extra for a regular Pro Pig.. so the Pig may be at the bottom of my list for that single reason. Suggestions???

Hard fade? Mild fade?

Glide? No glide?

Skip? No skip?

Low profile? Tall profile?

Firm plastic? Soft plastic? Base plastic? Premium plastic?

Hard fade.. I have my wizards for milds fade.
Hardly any glide as it'll mainly be used for windy days.
Little bit of skip, I like my upshots to sit about right where I throw em
Don't really have a preference there.
I tee with SS Wizards and Opto Pures.. that should say somethin bout likin either firm or soft Haha
Base or premium, either or.

Sinus AP or SP (the SP is softer) or firm Pro Rhyno (even though the Factory Store R-"Pro" Rhynos feel great). The Sinus will fade harder than the Rhyno. At 200' Rhynos don't really fade for me unless I throw them high.

I know it isn't one of the four you mentioned, but I would look into the new DGA Breaker that just came out. Their Pro-Line plastic is equivalent to star or esp, and in my opinion feels even better. I've thrown a few of them and all of them didn't flip in the wind with a strong fade at the end, but could still be thrown straight if you needed them too  definitely a winner

Have not thrown a Sinus.

Rhyno is more like a typical putter line...straight to fade. Only it has little glide and good wind fighting ability.

Zone is more overstable and a bit faster. It will hyzer harder, and sooner, and have more lateral movement.

Pig is in between the two, but felt a little deeper and less comfortable to me than Rhynos, which always felt great in my hand.

Can't speak for the Rhyno or Pig.

Sounds like the Sinus is what your after. Less skip than a zone, especially a premium zone.

Much deeper than a zone as well. I don't get get very clean FH releases from my Sinus because of the depth.

Zone for OS FH approaches for me.

Ended up getting an Esp Zone 173-174g.. I felt up the Dga Breaker cause my friend got one in his St Pattys player pack. I may be getting one of those as well cause they feel amazing.

Vp for sticking upshots, zone for hard fade and possible skip

I had thought VP as well. Recently discovered the disc, and I've fallen in love it. Great for drives, approaches, and wind putts. Not too deep. Firms seem to have a slight bit of bounce to them; I've heard that mediums stick more, and softs are out there, too.

Sorry to be that guy who recommends something other than what you're looking into!

I rocked the VP for a loooong time. Made the switch to a Zone and am happier for it.

I've considered carrying both, and probably will. Use the VP when I want a touch more fade than a Ridge, and the Zone for mega-fade.

I bet you'll get a lot of people saying Jokeri. Anytime Pig or Rhyno comes up, people say Jokeri. So it must be a good disc (I just ordered one now that InfiniteDiscs has them in stock....there aren't too many retailers who carry Prodiscus)

However, Ive used both Rhynos and Pigs for the shot you're describing. Currently I use Pigs because they've always felt better to me and since Innova released that backstock they aren't too hard to come by. It just feels better to me, but that's personal preference.

I did just get a DGA Breaker in a players pack today, and it feels great in the hand. Haven't thrown enough of it yet to reccomend (or not) it, but to me it feels like a beaded Pig. Similar to a Rhyno as well, sort of a hybrid of both without the dramatic Thumbtrac. Could be a winner.

I'm not going to read all of the people just recommending what they throw and hopefully somebody broke it down already but...

Zone - more OS (plastic dependent), more glide, faster, skips.. it's a putter/mid fusion type disc more comparable to a gator than anything else. has more range than all of the other options.

Pig - usually just a bit less OS than the ESP Zone (also heavy old school pro pigs are more OS than any zone i've ever thrown but those are hard to get), less glide, slower than zone, faster than rhyno by a bit. no skip. thick rim (gator rim with smaller bead so it feels more like a mid in the hand) but only comes in r-pro or pro (which is OOP even though right now you can still get your hands on some (new old stiff pro)

Rhyno - less OS than a pig, slower than pig and zone but more glide than a pig. basically a more stable putter flight with a harder fade, less skip than zone. comes in more plastic options than the Pig, more putter like rim.

Sinus - about same speed as pig, glide about the same as rhyno, so it goes a bit farther than a rhyno and flies about the same except a little bit less stable.

Jokeri - (never thrown one) just going on inflights numbers it's more of a putter/mid fusion as well. probably has more glide than the other options and is less stable than all of the other options.

VP - (never thrown one) again going on inflight guide it looks like a less stable rhyno.
