So what do you all think of the new Latitude 64 disc golf shoes? I just got mine in the mail today. They are pictured below. I only wore them around the house for 5-10 minutes so far but they seemed to fit really well and were comfortable on the feet. I'm really interested to see how they will hold up to the elements and even just a full round of wearing them. I will continue to post my experiences with them.

I just read the ATDG review on these and saw the photos of the gray black ones. I think I like the all black better after seeing your picture! I'm looking to get a dedicated DG shoe to use just to keep from wearing out my everyday shoe or my hikers so I'm interested to see how these shoes are. Definitely keep us up to date after you get some time on the course with these.

Bogey I looked. Plus now that the shoes are out they deserve a thread with the right title.

As far as look and design they look great. Are these waterproof?

They are NOT 'waterproof'. Instead they are treated with Hydrogaurd. All that means is that they will have water resistance. I'll let you know how they hold up to the water whenever I come across any.

As far as the shoe goes the shoe seems really well made. The materials all seem of good quality and the shoe has a nice, rugged tread.

Water "resistant" is ok in my book as long as keeps out morning dew or playing in the wetness from a light rain shower. In fact, I have a pair of "waterproof" shoes that are not breathable at all, so if the resistant is any better in that regard that'd almost be preferable.

You need to do more research hydroguard is basically gortex. From latitudes website
Triple waterproof protection with Hydroguard water guard lining plus waterproof treatments on inside and outside of shoe upper materials.*

Give me a call when these come out in Wide. I have no problem and would actually like to support specifically designed disc golf shoes, but none are available in wide. I can fine trail shoes, hikers, or spikeless ball golf shoes (my personal preference) in wides, but not dg shoes. I know wides are a small part of the market and dg shoes are already a small market, but I look foward to the day when it isn't a problem finding wide shoes for dg anymore.

Ditto. They are nice looking shoes. I'd buy a pair if they came in wide.

I actually have wide foot myself and these are plenty wide enough for me. My foot is wide to the point where I don't need to buy proclaimed 'wide' shoes but I definitely can't buy certain brands because of how narrow shoes run (Nike for example).

Yeah, normal wides for me are usually too tight and some companies extra wide doesn't cut it. My buddy says I have hobbit feet(having hair toes doesn't help with the nickname).

I wore these to class yesterday to break them in before the tournament this weekend. I can say that there was absolutely no break in time with these. I thought maybe an hour or two of wearing them they would start to become just a little uncomfortable (as with almost every brand new shoe) but these were comfortable all day long. While walking around I did feel taller because of the aggressive and high tread on this shoe. I'm excited to see how they perform this weekend. We have an 80% chance of rain for Sunday so I will update with how the Hydrogaurd holds up to the wet conditions.

Here's my impressions on them so far:
Played 6 rounds on them.
-Size fits true for me at 10.5
-Extremely comfortable, more so than my Keen Nasu (Marshall WP), no break in time for me
-Definitely waterproof
-First 2 round were in the heavy morning dew and my feet were bone dry
-Rounds 5 and 6 were in a constant light rain and my feet were bone dry
-Definitely feel taller wearing them
-I thought the arch was going to be too shallow, but I haven't had any issues at all with it
-The tread nubs on my plant foot showed some wear after the first couple rounds, but the wear hasn't gotten worse after 6 rounds.
-Definitely not for toe draggers as Lat64 stated

Overall, so far, so good. I've sold a bunch of them so far and have only had positive reviews come back. Only time will tell now if they hold up.

Was thinking the same thing. It looks like the sole that comes up on the front could get ripped off pretty easy on a concrete tee pad

I have a 30$ credit to dynamic discs and I'm thinking about trying these. I was gonna go for the Salomon escape etc but for the price these may be worth a shot.

I picked up a pair of black/black T-Links and so far am very satisfied with my purchase. To start, I placed my order Thursday morning form DD's website. They were delivered via USPS on Saturday by 2pm. Keep in mind I live in Utah and still got my shoes in just over 48 hours and with free shipping.

I have only played one round so far and it was within a couples hours after a rain shower. My feet stayed dry and comforted. They are very comfortable and seem to be very well designed and of durable material as well. I was a little worried about size difference but as others have said it is a true size to what you order. They fit just as they should. I also have wider feet and they are still comfortable.

Where I was playing is mostly moist grassy fairways and had no trouble getting traction and felt no slips while throwing my up shots. At the same time while driving off the concrete tee pads I was still able to pivot on my planted foot for my follow through.

I have owned Keen, Merrell, Asics and a couple other trail running shoes to play in (all at about the same price tag or more) and these seem to be right up at the top. We will just have to see how well they hold up. That will be the true test.

The only flaw I can see so far is the lack of toe protection. I myself am not a toe-dragger but I can see how this could deter someone who is. I have a friend that drags his toe and this is one of his concerns. I hope that this is something that is taken into consideration if Lat does make a 2nd gen of this shoe.

Really wanted to try these shoes...

But, I'm an 11.5 and they lost another sale to Merrell. Probably for good, because the MOABs I got are incredibly comfy and I am picky as hell about shoes.

Too bad they decided to wait on "man-sized" shoes!! Most full grown men I know wear an 11-12 size shoe and Lat64 really hurt themselves by limiting the launch to 11 and under sizing. If these Merrell's hold up like my bud's - I won't be looking for anymore DG shoes for a couple years. Maybe the T-Link's will be available in actual man-sizes by then...

These are a Latitude 64 product, not DD.
