I have been driving with orcs for maybe 10 years, they seem to flight consistent for me and I get better control and distance with them as opposed to something faster. My question is, since it is getting hard to find old Orcs that I like, what other discs are like them? Like what does prodigy, latitude or other company offer?

The new Beasts are supposed to be very Orc-like. I know you mentioned other companies, but the new Beasts are the original mold that supposedly had to be changed since it was too much like the early Orcs.

MVP Tesla or Axiom Wrath are the best Orc-like discs on the market right now.

The Tesla is pretty OS while the Wrath has a bit more glide. Both have 0 HSS and a reliable fade.

Thanks for the replies, I will look into the newer beasts. The newer orcs arent my favorite thing in the world. I looked down at my bag last weekend and then figured out that all of my discs are expensive to replace. I laid off golf for a while, my whole bag is pre flight number stuff, orcs, 11x teebirds and eagles, one star destroyer for wind. Lots of rocs and mids.

:hfive: I came to say this. Might want to go a little lighter in weights given the orc you're used to... the tesla definitely will be like a nice flat high plh orc but season into straighter. Wrath is essentially a seasoned tesla off the shelf. Always flat topped. Orcs were a favorite of mine years back. I use my teslas now exactly the same.

Try a Sampo or Boatman from Westside, they are close to an Orc in my opinion. If you like a slanted rim the Lat 64 Riot is possibly a touch faster but maybe a little straighter and as such carves similar lines on the same power throw.

Those are pretty OS when new? Unlike orcs when you get down into 160g weights the tesla and wrath are stable just give little more glide. I have a 150 tesla that is OS but goes far! PM me if you want to try one i have a stack sitting around.

I love the Orcs. Love em! I didnt think the Wrath could ever fill the role of my Orcs but I only threw the Wrath a few times, never threw a Tesla.

But Im kind of surprised no one that I've noticed, has mentioned the infamous PD cycle.

So have you replaced your orcs at all?? I needs them lol

They remain unreplaced. I dont have any more old pearly PFN gems unfortunately. I sold those a couple years ago before knowing how great they are. All I have is a champ or two and a pro. Been looking for a flat star but I cant find any. Not that Ive put much effort in to looking.

If had to put my orcs down and replace them right now, I'd put PDs in the bag.

Trespass is way faster, and feels nothing like an Orc in the hand.

I agree, its faster. But the feel isn't THAT much different. It has a similar flight as in that it turns over slightly, but has an overall straight flight with a moderate fade.

Im just putting out suggestions

Heavy Jun fly like Orcs to me but they don't quite feel the same.

The rimis more convex.
