[Drivers] 2018- What is everyone's longest disc these days?

I was realizing earlier today that I haven't really tried any Discraft drivers, except the AvengerSS. How would you say the Thrasher's flight compares to the AvengerSS?
I've only thrown 1 A-SS but it was very understable, almost a cut roller for me. My Big Z Thrasher will turn over on a flat release but has some bite back at the end

Changed my mind did some yard work today.. Orbital is still solid on the back hand but I've lost a lot of distance lucky if I'm hitting 290 right now but I got my 155 Inertia out to about 310 on a forehand. Got the Wave 290 on a laser forehand..

155g Inertia is my longest on flat ground.

Good old fashioned star destroyer, yet to find a driver that can consistently outpace the distance and control of the destroyer.

More stable, better glide, and a lot longer. I never found any use for the Avenger SS. Its too flippy and sluggish. One of those weird tweener discs that you never know how much arm to put on it to fly properly.

I like the Thrasher a hell of a lot more than the Avenger SS. The Thrasher is also a couple speeds faster. It is a very legit distance flier.

Pro Destroyer max weight. One of the recent factory seconds from the Innova Proshop. Love the feel of these, super grippy and nice. Out of the box they were flying full S shots with good turn and fade easily breaking 400 ft, my furthest throws.

It's been almost 5 months, now, and they're starting to get flippy though. So I've had to hyzer flip them to compensate. Still the farthest flying discs in my bag.

Judging from the rips I was giving them today. It looks to be my td2. Granted they all had to clear a 20 foot fence at 200 feet out. I'm not entirely sure. I'm still in the 300 - 350 foot range though.

I'm in WI, so I haven't thrown for max distance in a few months.

I carry Destroyers, but last year my longest throw before the snow hit was with a Star Shryke.

Probably won't bag one though.

The Thrasher is what you wanted the Mystere to be. Its like a CD3 and a Star Tern had a kid.
Trust me I threw my dad's 173-174 Big Z 350' with about 70% on a hyzerflip line. Get one around 165 and have something that will rival those Terns. I could've grabbed a Thrasher at a tourney last year but I had heard the Punisher was like a Destroyer so I grabbed on of those instead. Possibly my biggest regret of my 2017 tourney season, besides throwing my MD3 in sudden death and going OB, all I had to do was throw the same shot with a putter and would've birdied for the win.

Punisher sucked? Never seen or thrown one. The Thrasher is worth a look. It isn't exceptionally fast, but it glides superbly and is very long for speed 11.

Never seen or thrown a Mystere either. Thrasher was an immediate keeper for me. Like a domier, glidier Surge. Longer too.

The Punisher didn't turn enough to really get good distance. It's perfect for a headwind Destroyer though.

What about the Quasar? :)

The Quasar I have is a gorgeous metal flake disc. Overstable. Looks exactly like a Boss, but flies noticeably overstable. Tough disc to get any high speed turn out of.

Probably great for 500' throwers who want a disc to throw hard and flat.

Yep. That's why I asked mikec. I'm pretty sure that's what he used to throw really far before the change to MVP.

#MadeInFinlandBag:

Pink Razeri and Fasti. Both in Ultrium plastic.

Borrowed a beat in Legenda from a friend to throw some because the more stable than a Tern or Shryke but not Destroyer slot is so hard for me. Only threw it once, but it was awesome. Can you tell me more about the two you mentioned?

I would say that Pink Razeri is as stable as Crank for me. But much easier to grip. Wing is not that wide. Fasti is faster Z-Flex Thrasher. It's understable hyzer flip disc. I haven't thrown Innova discs since 1989 so hard to tell if it's like Tern.

For my mixed bag I've kind of stopped carrying a stable max D driver. I've got a S-DD and a TP Giant fighting it out for this but they're both more for safe, consistent D. I was throwing a C-DDx but I got tired of hidden headwinds turning them over unpredictably. I carry a VIP King for bombs where there's unlimited room on the right. I like the Destiny a lot but like the King it's fairly hard to control. The Ballista is probably the farthest disc I have but my form isn't quite good enough to get the most out of it.

In my gyro bag my big D drivers are a mid 160s Proton Photon and a Plasma Wave (similar to the King). The Wave has more dome than my Proton Wave so it actually has a lot of glide and less HSS, tough to finish left of center. The MVP/Axiom stuff faster than these feel a little too wide for my hand.

Fuzion Sheriff. When hyzer flipped on the right line, I've been getting these out to around 450-500.
