If I'm not mistaken, the white mid-range he throws is a jawbreaker Wasp.

Yes but the JB WASP is an oddball, it don´t really fly like a WASP. . much more US

So i wonder if it´s THAT kind of flight he is after. . .OR if he goes for a more OS Buzzz

But it feels like he wants a more US disc

Wasp like disc might take the actual Wasp and make it OOP unless this midrange is going to be a slower Wasp which will then be a ROC, but maybe with the more rounded nose of the Wasp style.

I know the Wasp isnt the Roc but the emergence of the Roc3 didnt make the Roc go OOP.

Disagree. I have 5 JB wasps (2 normal, 2 CT) and off the shelf they all are as stable as any premium wasp I've thrown, just with a milder fade.

I have had 1 JB Wasp in my bag since February and it's still stable. The wear cycling on these are great. I think the GMC JB Wasps are the best iteration of the disc I've thrown (but I tend to prefer base/pro level plastic for putters and mids)

What i should have said that the JB WASP Paul is throwing do not fly like a "normal" WASP. . .his is way more US than his Buzzz

gmc jb wasp might as well be pro d wasp they ding and scratch and bend so easily

Natural choice, imho, is a simple Luna release in standard putting plastic. We saw it happen various times with special McAviar releases, and why would this be different?

As for 5x, anything that used to be 4x should become 5x. Isn't that how it works? So 5x Zone, Buzzz, Undertaker, and Force seem expected. I doubt they'll keep releasing 4x, just in case someone was thinking along those lines.

I think his new mid will be US.

Since he's throwing the Drone for OS, Buzzz for stable and JB Wasp for US.

We're getting a little weird here, but hear me out.
He wants a replacement for the Mako3/JB Wasp slot. He's not satisfied with the fragile JB plastic. He still wants a bead and the same stable/under stable flight.
Enter, the "Comet3," retooled for Mcbeth with a more modern feel and flight. Insert four letter name here.

How about the Wasp in the Rubber Jawbreaker plastic? That would be cool and better yet Paul finds a way for the disc to come out like the old DX Wasp that was nearly flat top.

That his next disc will be a mid is quite clear. . .but what about the other one? He said there will be TWO more out this year. .. and there are no real "gaps" in his bag to fill. . .a sig. roller disc?

I think Slower Wasp so the mold is a smaller distance wing Wasp being at the same speed as a ROC and call it a day but have The Rubber Jawbreaker plastic be an option besides the Z. I think Paul is so used to such a slow speed and a stiff plastic for his main beaded putter that speed and plastic are the main two issues as to why Paul is not throwing a Wasp much.
