New mid sounds like a Buzzz OS/Drone baby.

My rampant speculation... Since this is all for fun.

Drone bottom with a Comet top... with whatever spacers needed to make the 2 fit together. This would give both the flight indicated and feel.

He is taking the Hornet, as it is OOP, and modifying it.

Could it be possible that McBeth is modifying a Hawk to not have the lip it currently has? To have that lip be a Mega Big Bead instead to make the mold more OS like a ROC?

Of course the Hawk would still be made with the new mold being a modified Hawk using at first a single old Hawk mold that is no longer usable as a Hawk, then when Paul and Discraft get that disc right is when then is made an actual mold for the disc using the old modified Mold as a scanned in template for the CAD program to make a new mold.
