Ricky Wysocki #38008

One of the pleasures of the Champions Cup is the aural experience, tree hits that sound like gunshots, smashing chains and cheers from other holes filtering through the woods.

On a course like this, do you think Ari's signature whoop is a sneaky advantage for Ricky? When he's on a heater the whole field can't help but know it.

Big fan of Ari ftr, she's a perfect example of professionalism and individual personality that fits right where pro dg is right now.

Feels a bit like last year.

Ricky got hot in Texas and dominated the early mid season. Was in it pretty much every tournament once he got dialed.

This one isn't over. Glad it's 4 rounds, but I don't see Ricky losing this one. Calvin or CDick could win it, but it's going to take an incredible round to pull it off. Ricky's scramble game is on point. He can play super aggressive and still be at the front even with bad throws or even holes.

It's great to see the fields are so deep this year that anyone can win any given tournament. Dickerson played amazing. While Rick and Calvin played great too, there were 18 rounds better than their 7 down, including Robert Burridge in 71st place at 9 down.

Ricky really let this one slip through his fingers. He missed putts today he hadn't missed all weekend.

Rick wasn't himself and Dickerson didn't make mistakes. I think Dickerson forced the issue and Rick couldn't get in his comfort zone. Chris really took it. Calvin let it slip through his fingers with the back to back slip ups on 5 and 6. But he finished very strong.

And of course Paul coming out of no where with a 16 down today. 7 down isn't going to cut it with fields this deep.

After R1-R3, I didn't see any way Rick was going to give it away. His game is always aggressive, he seemed dialed.

But Chris created a ton of pressure, so maybe that's it.

I certainly wouldn't want to be putting or about to unleash a drive when she lets out one of those loud whoops. It's certainly fine once in awhile, but doing it for every 30 footer is just distracting for other players on the course.

See a doctor, get treated. Done.

Unfortunately not entirely true. Early treatment reduces but does not eliminate the chance of developing post-treatment Lyme disease syndrome. There is no proven treatment for this syndrome but it usually resolves over time, which can take many months.

CDC: Post-treatment Lyme disease syndrome (clicky)

Medline Plus: Lyme disease (clicky)

Did Ricky receive proper initial treatment? There has been much speculation, but I do not know the answer (nor do most who opine on the subject, most likely).

For the rest of us, tick prevention is the way to go.

I'm aware of all you posted. It's been a few years since he first stated his illness? For the vast majority, post treatment syndrome clears up in 6 months or so?

Yes I'm speculating. Pretty safe bet though based on all that's been shared by Ricky.

I only saw the post that was quoted here. Did Ricky attribute his current issue to Lyme or was that editorializing by a forum member?

I used to follow the skeptical groups and chronic lyme was a frequent target of theirs.
