OK I had an idea - tell me what you bag which is underrated.

WAIT WAIT before you click away, let's put a spin on it. Do an advanced search within the "Discs" subsection of DGCR and under Keywords do "Search Titles Only."

Take the name of that disc you bag which you feel like nobody knows about and search it. If it pops up with <10 pages worth of replies, post it. If there is more than 10 pages of discussion on your favorite sleeper disc, I got news for you son, it ain't a sleeper <3

Mine is the Vertex - OOP mid, slow and understable GYRO goodness

Kastaplast Kaxe Z. No dedicated thread for it, less than 250 comments mentioning it on the site.

This thing is the disc my entire bag revolves around, I could compare most of my bag to this disc when deciding what to throw on a shot.

It's a very fast and long midrange, really a midrange/fairway tweener. The hand feel is similar to a TL or a Leopard but slightly narrower rim, it flies like a mix of an EMac Truth and a seasoned TeeBird. If I throw it flat it just flies straight with a reliable forward fade at the end, if I power it up on a small hyzer it flips up a little, glides and then finishes with a little fade.

I can throw it on shots most people use fairways on and I can power down on it like a midrange.

It's one of the shallower midranges I've held and it forehands beautifully. I even have a friend who claims they can't forehand anything slower than a teebird due to the rim, but when I lend them this disc they throw great forehands with it.

The EMac Truth is probably in my top 5 all-time favorite discs, but the Kaxe Z kicked it out of my bag because I just always reached for it instead of the EMac.

I have a few that almost no one throws but they are awesome; RPM Kahu- they look super cool an absolutely bomb. If you have decent but not incredible power it's a great distance driver.

Prodigy M1- the name would lead you to believe it's overstable. It's not. It's a straight to fade mid like a Bard, Roc or Yao. Beadless, good glide and it can hold a ton of lines. As long as you don't think it's supposed to be OS you won't be disappointed.

In Germany the Kaxe and Kaxe Z are rather popular. They are available and many newer or casual playes seem to start with these mid-fairway-tweener discs.

So much for my Gateway Mystic lol. Harder than it sounds, I'll admit.

It looks to me like the biggest Mystic thread is a meager 3 or so pages! That one's a sleeper for sure. Also, I also thought the Mystic was pretty nice when I received on as a bonus disc.

Banger GT. Has a bunch of threads the longest of which is 4. So I'll count it. I know the groove throws some people off, but it is one of the sweetest fliers and so consistent. Now if only discraft would run it in esp consistently...

Just JLS https://www.dgcoursereview.com/forums/showthread.php?t=117440&highlight=JLS is the longest/most recent with 64 posts. Just QJLS https://www.dgcoursereview.com/forums/showthread.php?t=70046&highlight=qjls with 29 posts, last from 2018. ~45 threads of various types with JLS/QJLS in the title, including a bunch of VS. and random questions with >400 total posts among them all. Mentioned in 500 threads.

Here are all the discs it has been compared with/gone up against in VS. (kinda surprised no Leopard/3 among these, they do have post mentions in their main threads though)
Patriot, Veteran, Polaris LS, Amp, Sidewinder, Gazelle, FD, OLS, Teebird, TL, Striker, Northman, Fury, River, PD

Only seen 1 other person throw one since I started playing. My friend traded for one because I threw mine so much and he liked the flight when I lent him one to try. Being one of the original 6-7 speed molds and top selling in the early 00's, it definitely gets overlooked IMO maybe due to less availability currently and not many/any touring pros throwing them.

Sounds like a great way to start to me. Kastaplast is fairly available here in Iceland but I mostly see people throwing the putters and fairways, with a Svea thrown in here and there.

RPM Kotuku ... no threads. 5/5/0/2 and the most stunning disc you've never seen.
Great into the wind, up shots, takes power well. Awesome disc.

RPM has several very solid molds that I have liked. I think they might be the most underrated company at the moment.

I don't know how popular the A2 is because it's too short to search. :\

Axiom Excite only has one thread on here which is surprising because people generally get hyped over distance drivers that go far without much effort.

The Draco also only has one thread despite Heimburg bagging it. Great OS utility driver.

The Seer has 4 threads and I don't think it's necessarily underrated but it's a nice Leopard clone.
