Am I the only one that doesn't putt with a putter?

A bunch of guys from fort wayne putt with classic rocs and XD's.

Personally I putt with a dart. I consider it a mid because of its speed and flight.

Zones also make good headwind putters.

I have tried a lot of putters looking for "the one", and the soft focus, for me, is an easily controllable disc. Good feel, small bead, wouldn't trade it.

I play with a guy every now and then who will only putt with a Champion Shark. He says he doesnt like the way a "putter" feels in his hands. I guess if it works for him.

I know another guy that putts with a Champion Spider. I have one that I use as a mid-range but I cant seem to putt with the thing: no grip!

I have 3 putters: BEAT-IN Pro Rhyno.... Elite-X Challenger (soft)....Wizard SSS

I keep going back to my Rhyno for most of my putts.

thanks for all the input guys, I'll look into getting an xd.

Any more putters with depth similar to the buzzz that I should try out?

I've played for a year or two now, and still use my sidewinder or valkerye to putt quite often. Mostly though this was due to the fact that I am a broke college kid, while drivers do slip through the chains a lot, if you know them better than anything, go for it...and then slowly work your way down (try a roc, which is signifigantly slower)

I went out to the course last week with my wife's uncle and he putts with a Wolf. He actually hit a pretty long putt with it. But, up close, not so much.

I couldnt putt worth a SHAT with my XD so I gave it to someone who I introduced the sport to: My mom!:D

She was money with that disc, even hittin' 15' putts like they were nuthin' on her first time out.... Not bad for a 67 year old woman!:hfive::clap::clap::clap:

The XD just didnt work for me: now its hers.

I got a friend who has been playing less than a year, and his putting was terriable till I gave him an XD. He loves it. You gotta find a putter that works well for you.

I use my esp buzzz to putt sometimes when it is EXTREMELY windy. It usually grabs the chains nicely, but my only problem putting with that disc, is that if it hits high on the chains, or not center chains, it will almost never fall into the basket. It took me about 5 different putters before I found one that I love.

Those are all putters.

the Focus has a big bead.

OMEGA SS is king of putters.....not a aviar...!but some people dont even know that if your outside 30 feet it is easier to keep a mid straight..my experiance only!just a late night thought.and this web site is the ****!!learned a lot sitting in front of this screen!then taking it to the course!! every 1 has a thought!!!

Dude I'm pretty sure the Omega comes from the same mold the small bead AViar came from. lol.

You could also try the Vibram Summit. it has a low profile and flies like a nice undersable putter.

depending on what you are looking for it could work.

I've been using an R-Pro Skeeter but am really intrigued by the Ions and my have to give one a shot.

Best thing to do is find a retailer and stand there fondling some plastic. 15-20 feet anything should fly pretty straight and it's all about the feel of the rim.

Putters are over-rated. Be a rebel and putt with a Groove like all the cool kids (and add about 18 strokes to your score...) :\

One guy that is in the top 5 (or at least used to be) in my group putts with a beat in Star Teebird. I can't say that it never slides out, but it happens less than I thought it would.

If it is really windy and I am within 20 feet, I will use an upside down Champ Teebird to keep the wind from bothering my putt. However, any further out than that and it starts hyzering like there is no tomorrow. BTW, if you ever need a short (like 50 feet or so) hard hyzer approach and keep it close to whatever you turning around(great for a basket that is on the opposite side of an evergreen like tree), this works well also. ;)
