My initial reaction: "That looks totally cool ... a truly original pin placement."
After some thought I think its pretty crazy ... laying up - kind impossible ... putting in the water -not fun especially in a cold upstate NY winter. So yeah, its pretty cool but Im glad it isnt on my local course :D

It would be convienent if there was a retrivial tool located near the basket for those atrocious shots that fall in the creek a bit out of a hand's reach.

I like tghe original idea and think that since it is a small creek, laying up wouldn't be that tough. I love anything with water cause it makes you think twice about each shot and brings up your heart rate like in competition. A retrieval tool however would be nice so frostbite doesn't occur during the winter. Kind of hard to putt with missing digits. = )

To me, in the photo it looks like there are two rocks you can step on on the right side of the basket. Or if you are tall and long like me, you could probably just lean over and catch yourself on the basket, pull out the disc, and then push yourself back.

Why not bring both!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????????!!!!!!!!!!! Make a fun fest out of it at Hyzer Creek!!!!

That one's not so bad. Throw your disc from 200 feet, hope to hit a tree and richochet in.

hole 16 at hyzer is brutal. your greeted with that pin placement after a 450ft zigzag through some tight woods. once you can see the pin in the creek it is actually a relief. i've seen a couple threes on it but 6's and 7's are more common. the shot isnt actually too bad though as most misses land on the opposite shore since it is a down hill shot. just dont miss low. great hole though.

Check out the following site - This is Johnny Sias' private course near Huntington WV. Keep wanting to get over there and play but never get the chance. I've heard horror stories from some of the locals.

I tried to attach a pic of the post "unique" pin placement.
