[Question] ID a disc or ask "What is the story on this disc...?"

After the reading i've done, i had a biased towards the plus mold. I didn't know this was plus when I bought it (glow Japan above). No indication in description. I threw it into some wind, plenty stable. Less domey than current glows. I liked the flight and plastic feel. So overall, my preconceived biased is gone. I like the disc.

My buddy picked up this sweet cyclone at a PIAS. Anybody know any details on the tourney stamp, plastic, etc?

This is going to be a Tournament Pro Cyclone. Great discs.

The stamp is from the old Florida Triple Crown series, which was a three tournament series they held every February. It wasn't a Supertour event, but a lot of Open guys would travel down because the middle event was held on Wednesday and Thursday. You could head down and hit three pretty big events in nine days. It was a great snowbird getaway. Of course, Ken Climo dominated the series.

I have this 175g Proto Star XCaliber. Until I began doing more research on this forum, I assumed all protostars were "First Runs". Is this the case for the XCaliber? If not, does this have a run?

Thanks in advance! This is far too much disc for me, so I need to deal it to someone for the right trade. :hfive:

I went to the '91 Triple Crown, shared 2 condos with Greenwell, Hambrick and 8 others. (yeah I'm name dropping, but they were my friends :) ) We played Rockledge for the 2nd tournament that year and the tournament never went back there again, it sucked. REM wrote a song about it. :D (Not really)

Like they said above, a lot of big names went there as a winter disc golf vacation. Great times!

so i was playing a round with this guy yesterday and noticed he had a very unique XD. it was a bullet XD but it had a stamp under the XD stamp twords the bottom in green that said "bent". ive never seen this before. can someone shed some light as to what this thing is?

1998 faultline classic viii

my friend has this disc. It says 1998 faultline classic viii santa cruz, ca... I see it's made my discraft. It is a driver I believe because of the rim. If it is any help the disc seemed to be slightly overstable when i threw it a few times.
