Voodoo Disc Golf Bag?

So, my brother got a Zulu and I now have a much better impression of it. It's not the monster I had been told it was, it is much more reasonably sized. Granted, you can fit a crap load of discs in there, but if you put in discs casually, it holds a good 25-28 and you still have both giant pockets open. The surprising thing is that even with all the discs in there it is still light and feels comfortable with the Voodoo straight jacket.

I am a huge fan of this bag. The material feels indestructible and it looks great. The side pockets are huge and you can fit plenty in them. Also, the 3 putter pocket can easily become a 4. I highly recommend this bag!

Right now I carry the innova deluxe or whatever the trash it is, it holds 18 in the main compartment and it holds 3-5 in the side pocket. I usually carry 21 in it and just use the standard shoulder strap. It felt lighter carrying the zulu and it was clearly better quality. I am a fan of the zulu!

Please post a picture of that zulu.

I got the karma and i was like "OMGWTF" at how big it looked. I'm a small guy, 5'9 about 150, it looked like i had a surfboard across my back when I carried it. I can't imagine how big the zulu would look packed full (side pockets too)

Just got my Karma last week and I love it more than I always thought I would. Disc capacity is WAY understated on Voodoo's website. I comfortably have 22 in my main compartment (including 2 putters and 3 mids), 2 Ridges AND 1 Rhyno in the putter pocket, and 6 backups (including two mids) in one of the side storage pockets. Thats 31 discs.

And to top it off, the other storage pocket easily fits my hoodie in it. And just for fun, we found out it can fit a whole 6-pack (bottles) upright in that pocket lol.

Zulu fully packed, but not jammed

Here's pic of my zulu with 37 discs. 24 in main compartment, 5 in each side pocket and three putters in front. They are there pretty casually and loose enough to take them out or put them in with ease. If you want to jam it full you could probably fit 45 discs + couple ones between the frame and fabric.

It actually doesn't feel that big but I often need to go sideways between the trees to not get gaught :D I never pack it full though. Currently I use 21 discs, leaving the middle part of main compartment free for towels etc. I can post side by side pic with Latitude bag tomorrow if someone's interested.

The storage claims for discs on the website is only the main compartment. Total in both side pockets you can store about 40 drivers in the bag.

Sounds like a good theory until you look at the other numbers... Im not seein 41 drivers fitting in the main compartment of a Zulu.

Yeah I find it weird there is an 11 disc difference versus the 3 to 4 difference in the Karma. Try it though. Without dividers the zulu could hold 41 drivers.

New Red Karma Bag

Just got myself a red Karma bag! Best bag yet! have 23 discs in it comfortably and its made so well!

I took the voodoo patch off and put my initials in place of it. Im going to be adding some custom zipper pulls next! Great bag

I got the Karma for a Christmas present (Thank you to my wife, Sister and future brother-in-law) and it is awesome. I am by no means a minimalist, and when I hit the park for a day I do not want to leave for any reason. For want of a better term I am a packrat with my bags. It is big, but I pack a ton of crap with me. I am diabetic and have to bring all the stuff that goes with that, plus I play through the winter, so it is nice to be able to throw layers of clothing in and out of the bag. Plus in the summer if I play a casual round I can throw a six-pack in one side pocket with a a small ice pack (in the winter no ice pack needed). Great bags, I love them.

I'm type 1 diabetic as well, one of my mojo's side pouches carries everything I need on that side, meter, insulin (in a small ice pack if it's hot out) and a tupperware container with 4-5 cliff bars (usually half of one before a round if I'm at good sugar, a whole bar if I go low during a round)

Cliff bars are great because if they get hot and melt they are still edible. Glucose tablets go bad (get soggy and crappy) and I've almost choked on one before (the dust gets me every time it seems).

Pre-ordered the backpack bag for more awesome-ness!

there is no need to. No one has i am pretty sure. The bottom is made of 1680D ballistics base. Practically bomb proof.

It still gets saturated when you set it on the wet ground and starts to smell funky, plus the non-watersafe things(phone) don't absorb any of that. Beneficial to any bag even if you got the grip, it just protects it even more. If you don't like it, peel it off, simple as that. That reminds me, the gorillaboy is starting to peel, time for a new coat. Lasted about a year. If I get a voodoo after saving loose change ill probably coat it as well.

Last year I carried a FADE gear crunch box and it was an awesome bag, but not enough storage for me. When I was just starting out I didn't really need too much storage but as my form continues to improve having stuff in my pockets drives me crazy, which is why I like the storage on the Voodoo. Wallet, keys, cell phone, granola bars, chewing gum, insulin, meter, ice pack, six-pack, extra towel, tape, retriever, sharpie, mini Jambox speakers, iPod, two Nalgenes, hand sanitizer (our water hazards are 95% duck/goose crap so the sanitizer is essential)... and I still have room for all my discs and I can carry any that I find (I did say I was a packrat and I used to carry most of that stuff in the cargo pockets of my shorts:) Of course part of the problem is the more space I have the more I cram into it.
I also waterproofed the bottom of my bag, and it has held up through the winter so far. I sprayed several coats and let it set up very well before I started using it. I have not had any problems so far with water soaking my bag.

Just ordered my Karma today. After a year with my fade lite I can't wait to carry discs I will never use.

You wont be sorry, the bag is RAD (yes I had to capitalize it). It is big, but no bigger then a GRIP or an EVO. Enjoy your new purchase, you will not regret it.

I love my mojo so far. One round in. Holds more than advertised is my only problem. I expected 10-15 being jammed full, but I have 16 in very loosely

It's wider than a grip

True, it is also not as tall (V=L x W x H). Don't get me wrong, I dig Grip bags (wouldn't mind having one), as well as EVO bags (again wouldn't mind having one), I just dig the Voodoo's too. I also agree the Zulu is HUGE and makes the Karma look like a kindergarteners lunch sack. But, since I own a Karma and love it I might as well share some love.
