Revisiting an old friend. Felt so intuitive to throw, don't know why I ever took them out of my bag. Now that I got this Vector in the mail it's time for a new ITB vid!
Flicking these is night and day compared the last time I bagged them. I used to OAT them all over the place and constantly turn them over, now I feel like I have complete control.

I told you months ago.
Threw two beautiful back to back ace runs yesterday in 25MPH left to right crosswind on this 400' downhill hole which the vector rode straight the whole flight until the last 50' or so and faded right at the basket. Hell of a mid this is.

You were right. I think I got frustrated with it because at the time I wanted something more like the drone or tensor. Over the years as they've added more molds to the line-up like the Envy and Resistor, I've felt less of a need for that sort of a disc. I wanted something a little beefier than my fresh Axis, a little longer than my Envy, and the Vector nails that slot.
same here. I dunno wtf I was doing without one in the bag.
The ion, vector and volt are here to STAY tho I think you can feel me on that one. Other stuff is just fun to play with!

All the new discs are fun to try, but I always fall back on my Ions, Volts & Axis. And now Vectors again
Even as awesome as the Envy is, I missed my Ions too much. Watching the upshots on the safari round I uploaded I want to kick myself for ever trying to take them out.

I will say, the proxy snuck its way into my bag last week and well WOW, I haven't been as impressed since the latitude pure came out (like actually came out in GRIP line) in such a STRAIGHT disc that is very forgiving to form/winds etc but also controllable. THe envy didn't do much for me with the ions on lock down but the proxy has a place in the bag I think for good.
It really bothers me not bagging a Proxy, it's definitely something special. I've just got so many seasoned Ions, and I bag Atoms now, that I really don't need a fourth putter mold.
It's been making me want to start a thread along the lines of "Make a bag out of molds you don't bag, but want to"

if I didn't give all my atoms to my buddy who really liked it I could see using them, specially given in the winter they don't even need a towel. SO basically what we both want is to cycle come electron ions........ I think santa might bring some'
Poor Atoms. When the E Ions come out they're probably going to get the boot.
This was a fun video to make because it brought back a lot of memories. Remember when MVP was just something you added to your bag, not something that you could make a complete bag out of? Now here we are wondering which of the putters molds to bag. Back then there was only one putter mold. Then just a single mid. They've come such a long way.

Chalk up another Vector revival :thmbup:
The Vector was one of my very first discs when I started playing. Of course I bought it because it looked cool and had no real idea what it was capable of. It quickly got lost in the newb shuffle, never to return again...
Flash forward to my current game. Just picked up a Vector for the first time in a long while (despite always being a GYRO nerd). Why oh why have I not been bagging this disc? It's fast, reliable & very long. Now that I am using the Envy/Atom on a great # of shots, I need a mid that has a little more speed & the Vector fits that bill beautifully.
For anyone that truly wants the greatest example of a Roc/Buzzz love child, give the Vector a GO.

I compared the Vector to my friend's glo Roc+. They were identical in every way I could tell. The Roc maybe had a slightly more plus rim than the Vector, but the wing shape and dome were exact from what I could tell. I think that's why I never clicked with the Vector. I was never a huge fan of Rocs.
I am inspired by Mike's vid though. I want to go play a round with just my Alias, Theory and Envy now.

Yeah if you don't like Rocs, you won't like Vectors. Very similar discs.
Back when I was first messing around with MVP and all they had out was the Ion, my two favorite discs were Rocs & Wizards. I got sold on the Ion after driving my friends opaque proton pair 20' further than my longest Wizard throw. Also the fact that I could never find a gummy evo wizard like that mustard yellow one, but Soft Ions were available all day and felt just as good, if not better than that Wizard.
This was a time when premium Rocs weren't readily available. So I tried out the Vector after reading the Roc comparisons and ended up liking it, and knowing I didn't have to hunt down a premium Roc style disc.
Back then my bag looked something like this:

Yessir. 350 with the insanity is my max as of today. It's straight straight with a nice fade at the end for me. I use it as a longer envy. Can push it to 280-300. As long as I release with a tic of hyzer it'll eat wind for breakfast as well. I throw max weight neutrons.
