It is at Beau Pre. It's a pretty fun course.

I just played a new one up here in McKinleyville at a local ball golf course. It's only tonepoles at the moment, but there will be baskets eventually

I'm going to have to change my response on this from 7 years ago and put my hardest course ever as Birds of Paradise.

@jasonandsharon Thanks for the info. I was hoping it would be open while I was down on this trip, I guess I'll just have to make another trip down here soon.

Any more word on the new courses in Folsom or Cameron Park?

Plus sides of the logging; new pin placements, new hole 3 that eliminates the crossover with hole 10, and potentially some par 4's for tournaments.

Had a killer Italian Beef sandwich when I was in Wisconsin recently. The rest of my party thought it was weird that my sandwich was wet when it showed up, I just couldn't stop cramming it down my food hole.

You are much better off having gone to Bohart rather than Rose Park there in town. That one earned me some thumbs down from the locals by being honest about how boring that course is.

The road to BOP isn't as bad as sissies from the city make it out to be. I've been driving out that road in my Cavalier for years and never had a problem. The hard part of making it out there is getting someone to let you in and show you around. I would suggest trying to get a hold of Caleb...

I live in Arcata as well. I don't have access to BOP, but if you can't get in to play BOP I might be able to show you some of our other great courses.

Im in Pasadena this morning getting ready to play oak grove. From there I'm still not sure, north i guess.

I'm down in So Cal dropping a friend off to start the PCT. I've got till Tue evening to make it to Sac area, and want to play some good golf while I make my way back home. Anyone have any good suggestions for courses, or feel like playing a round with me, let me know.
