Any legit par 72 disc golf courses?

"Ball golf" has standardized on the par 72 championship course, which usually consists of about (4) par 3s, (10) par 4s, and (4) par 5s. However, even "championship level" disc golf courses where we watch the big tournaments being played like Winthrop Gold, Smuggler's Notch, or Emporia Country...

    7 Mold/25 Disc Limit

2x P2 2x Classic Aviar 1x Zone 3x Roc (Rancho) (Does Roc3 count as another mold? If not, give me a Champ. If so, I'll stick with the Star Rancho). 2x Teebird 1x Leopard 3x Orc And one for the road.

Dx Factory Seconds for Middle School Group?

I already have a Costco membership and we have a local store, so i'll have to go see if they have any locally. I just looked at the website, but couldn't find anything. Talking to Legacy is a great idea. I think their factory is about an hour away from where I am, so maybe I could get some...

Dx Factory Seconds for Middle School Group?

Unfortunately, the only putters in stock are the Hydras. I've never thrown one, but I'm wary of floating discs since I bought a Wahoo as a curiosity. I did not like it and it left a bad taste in my mouth for floating discs. I will definitely check out gateway for putter and Costco for baskets...

Dx Factory Seconds for Middle School Group?

I am a middle school youth pastor (7-8 grade) in southern California and would like to start taking the youth group to play disc golf. I have gotten hooked on the sport over the past year and think it would be great for youth events. I am also considering buying a couple Innova travelers baskets...

    Hume Lake Extinct... What??????

That makes a lot more sense. Thanks for the explanation. I played the old layout two summers ago and played the new (more interesting) layout this past summer (2013) only a couple of weeks after they finished the update. They even still had the old layout on the scorecards from the little...

    Hume Lake Extinct... What??????

So my my wife and I go on vacation with a lot of our friends to Hume lake every summer. We live about 4 hours away and love playing the DGC when we're up there. That course is actually the reason I started playing disc golf! I just noticed that this course has been updated to EXTINCT. :wall: 1...

    [Mids] Mids with large rims

As a kind of side note, does anyone know how Pro-D Drones break in? I love my FLX and assume it will stay very overstable for a very long time. Since I like the feel of the Drone so much, I'm thinking that a lighter weight Pro-D might break in to a straighter, more all purpose disc. Do they get...

    [Mids] Mids with large rims

Tyler, thank you for your input. I appreciate this comment and advice. However, I think this is pretty much what I have done for the last several months. I have tried several different grips and worked hard on technique in the last few months always thinking that I would eventually get...

    [Mids] Mids with large rims

Thanks for all the tips! Those are some suggestions I will have to check out. I am currently using a grip where three fingers wrap around the rim (similar to a power grip) but my idex finger is alongside the edge/bead of the disc. Toothyfish, I will give your grip tips a try with the Rocs and...

    [Mids] Mids with large rims

I currently use a grip for my mids very similar to what Dave Dunipace calls the "Three finger power/accuracy grip" on the Dave's Grip Tips portion of the Innova website. I wrap three fingers under the rim and place my index finger along the edge of the disc.

    [Mids] Mids with large rims

First off, this is my first post on the forum. I come on here and read often and have learned a lot! Now it's time to start getting my hands dirty, so to speak. Let me start by saying I am a fairly new player to the game (less than a year) and have had trouble being consistent with midrange...
