As far as the weight, the Teebird is (165) and the TL is (168). I went out this weekend and played a few rounds throwing both on every hole, and I also tried using the "Climo" / fork grip. I was able to get the TL to fly straighter this time. I think with some practice I can get the TL to fly...
I guess my thought was since I do hit a lot of obsticles getting a more durable plastic in the Teebird would save some cash in the long run. I am not opposed to staying with the DX.
Thanks for the info. My Teebird does have quite a bit of rounds under its belt. My TL is a star. I wouldn't think the plastic would have that big effect on it. I want to upgrade my Teebird though. Should I get a champ or star. I want it to fly as similar to my dx one. I will continue to...
I am still fairly new to the game, and I have a DX Teebird that I've been throwing to satisfaction. I recently bought a TL and I throw a big meat hook. Why is this since they are the same speed, and I can throw the Teebird straight as an arrow. They are also the same weight. Any help will be...

I will be in Dayton this coming weekend and have time to play 2 maybe 3 different courses. Which ones are the best to try? I am still sort of new and was looking for a couple of places that's not going to make me want to pull my hair out.
Good point on the disc comparison, but you could also get one maker signed on. It might turn some people off bc its not thier manufacturer of choice, but it could also open new people to thier product who never thought of using it in the first place. As far as people not knowing the specific...
Yeah I think it would be a good idea, and like yearofrolling said get the actual disc maker involved as well. Something like Tiger Woods as you progress open up new discs, bags, etc. Has anyone played the dg game on the PS Move?
I think it would be nifty to have a set up like Easy Scorecard but be able to save courses on there. So if you play different courses regularly you can hit like a my favorites course and pull the par info and distances from that specific course.
