First off - MVP is a *new* business in this game, and they've made plenty of mistakes. They've created multiples of discs that overlap all over each other, major holes in their lineup, and they are learning as they go. They release discs in the same class in bunches, and flood the market with...
Then release what everyone has been asking for - not a dozen high speed drivers with barely any noticeable difference between them.
THAT is how they will get more business. If MVP/Axiom were to ever release the OS PnA/Mid we've been asking for - every single Gybroni on the planet would buy at...
I must agree with this assessment. :(
NOBODY has asked for more wide-rimmed distance drivers. Literally. Nobody. :wall:
EVERYBODY has been begging for an OS PnA/Slow Mid. For a couple years at this point.
Trilogy (esp Westside) has gotten really bad with this lately as well.
Listen...
Yeah it just fell into my lap. I was dead-set on the Axiom basket. My friend got a Marksman when they came out, and I've seen first-hand what that basket can do for your putting.. so when the chance came up, I jumped on it. So glad I did.
Seriously, the regulation baskets look HUGE when you...
Ah ha. I thought they retired the original when they introduced the weekender 2. Didn't realize there were 2 drastically different versions of a Westside basket being sold with essentially, the same name. Great idea! No confusion there, no, none at all!! :wall:
Prodigy's ridiculous naming convention strikes again!!
Not a prodigy guy, but even if I was, I am not sure I'd be adding the..
HIV2
...to my bag.
:sick::thmbdown:
Yes, I know it is actually H1V2 - but it reads... HIV2.
Rather unfortunate naming system there, Prodigy. Not only does it not...
I've had the original Shift v1, then upgraded last year to the newest model v3? v4?
The newer ones are much better!! For one, the cupholder is fixed. Two, it's better mesh on the outside pockets, and the inner quiver has been re-spaced and raised so internal storage is much easier to access...
The Weekender is nothing at all like the MVP/Axiom baskets. :wall:
The Westside is basically a "hive" type basket. No band, a very thin/shallow basket, and one single row of chains with a cross-chain, just like the Hive/Titan style el cheapo baskets.
The MVP/Axiom baskets have bands...
If you send your plans and designs to ANY Chinese or Far East manufacturing facility, and this is usually the result. Only options in this economy are 1) Pay more for domestic manufacturing and keep your trade secrets and designs in house, or 2) Stay ahead of the rip-off artists. Option 1...
I go Envy - Inspire/Crave.
I do keep a N Alias in my bag for low power flips or occasional floating anny upshots, but really I just put it back in so my discs wouldn't flop around in my cart.. lol
I have no more use for mids. I do much better going right to the slower 6 speed fairways. It's...
You've likely "heard" that from one or two people that quite frankly, seem to have an axe to grind. Ignore them, they know not what they speak of... ;)
E Envys are as consistent as everything else MVP makes. Which is to say - incredibly consistent. I own 5 mediums and 2 softs. They are...
I actually consider it more of a "slide" or "wiggle" to the right, than an actual turn... :D I find that if I get it hard enough it will just shimmy right a hair, but not actually go into a turn. The rim never lifts to one side, but the discs does sort-of scoot to the side a couple feet before...
Agreed 100%.
They need to quit trying to create barely different discs, just to have an "Axiom" release.
There are still significant holes in the lineup, and yet... we've got Ion, Anode, Envy, Proxy, Particle, Spin. etc etc.. C'mon already.
