I don't see a problem in PIAS business. I sold back a dx for $3 and they sell used dx for $4. used champions are sold for $7 or $8 so i assume they buy it for $4 or $5. its actually a good deal to buy used discs that are in good shape still. They also have good deals on new discs - I bought...
College competitions would be amazing. As a college kid, I have to say that if colleges made teams that compete against each other I would probably make a mess in my pants (the good kind of mess ;))
I went with Millenium too. They simply have less disc selection but enough discs to do everything you need, so getting a new disc is a lot easier. I have a Millenium Polaris LS and its my favorite disc (better then all my other innovas) and I like evry other Millenium disc. I think its a very...
I have to disagree. The par is useful in that it guages how well you are doing in relation to how you should be doing. For example - if you finish par, you can tell that you are an average player on that course. par also tells the difficulty of the hole/course. If you finish 7 under par, you...
Amen to that. I haven't even been playing a year and my top distances are just over 300 feet forehand (like 250 backhand) with my 170 dx wraith most likely due to my poor form, but whatever, I dont need to say that I throw it 400 feet to feel good about myself. Disc golf is still fun even if...
Me and my friends who play call it frolf regularly. we have heard other people use the term frolf here in missouri as well. I usually say frisbee golf or frolf because its easier to say and people tend to understand it better then disc golf
how can any pros be really cocky? no one outside of the small disc golf community knows who they are. There shouldn't be any fame that can go to their head. If i ask a random person on the street who ken climo is, they will have no idea.
I was playing at Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis where birdies are hard to come by for me. I threw a great forehand drive to land within about 20 feet. wide open, stright putt for birdie got me very excited. of course my putt hits the top of the chains and falls short. i was so mad i picked up...
i agree completely. why does it matter what course is rated highest? why do you care so much? if they care that much about being number one then let them do their unfair rating. just dont let it bother you. it really doesnt matter if you are the highest or second highest rated course.
