Nifty Neighborhood 9-holer
Well kept with a nice pads and signs
Was there on a nice day and only saw a few other people
Some cool up and down and tricky holes - nothing too difficult though.
Not all that challenging but that is fine because it is a little neighborhood course aimed at beginners...
1. Flip City - stunning in every way
2. Leviathan - pretty epic and not overly cruel imo
3. Mason County parks - 3 courses
go to Pere Marquette Expeditions store near Mason County parks - they have beer and discs and rent kayaks for cheap
I heard today that Arboretum-Spiker had to give up some holes to make a wetland but haven't been there in a while so I can't say for sure. Maybe try Punderson state park east of Cleveland.... it may be the best course in the sate.

Ouchville
Nice park setting with mature trees and a view of the Grand River. Not too much underbrush in which to lose discs.
A lot of the holes are too close to playgrounds, ball fields and crowded common areas,
The park is nice and the course would be lovely if it were not such a popular park...
I'm heading to Denver tomorrow on a mini vacation and would like any and all advice on the best courses in the region. I'll have a rental car and will be able to travel so info on nearby areas like Fort Collins etc might also be useful.
I talked to Paulie at Bucksnort and if anyone has interest...
It could very well be cold and snowy, this year especially. If you can get outside of Cleveland there are a lot of good courses within an hours drive. Simms park in Euclid and Veterans in Parma are both closer to the city center. I would recommend Punderson S.P. if the weather is good and Parma...
Milo McCiver sp. = overrated
Toboggan = fairly rated
I think a lot of the par 4/5 courses in general are overrated. I feel a good 27 hole course with some challenging par 3s are the best (Banklick, Seneca Creek). Par 4/5 holes can be some of the best in the game if they are done right but too...
cold outside so I'll feed the beast by posting my bag
I am a minimalist and carry about 10 discs typically but switch things up quite a bit. This is how things stand currently

^^^^ I agree
Switched to the KC "fork" grip a while back and havn't looked back. Recently reinstated the power grip for d and high turnovers with good results. Champ described the grip as similar to holding a fork in an older youtube vid and it seems pretty natural and forgiving to me. You may...
i've been on a big dx kick lately. Always have preferred dx rocs and putters to premium plastics and recently got some glo / dx teebirds, eagles and leopards. I'm liking them so far but am waiting for the other shoe to drop. As far as variations in plastic I've liked the feel of some Discraft...
Hi there. Noob here, looking for info on dx teebirds in general. Threw the Champ in the past but currently don't trust champion plastic too much and am trying to cut the ties with innova champion plastic and stick with star and dx - specifically the glo dx. I have one glo teebird and like it but...
Hello
I've been here off and on to read and decided to join after seeing this thread. Disc golf is a great game and it has certainly changed my life. I think for the good but sometimes I wonder : ) I look forward to sharing in the obsession.
