WS Stag, I only know of one other local that throws them, and we both get killer results as well as funny looks from people when they see what we just threw past their best drive.
I played the Boise Winter Wizard tournament last Sunday, and if could get the same organic Wizard I had every time I bought one I would switch to them in a heartbeat.
Again though my only gripe with Gateway is consistency. They make runs of absolutely perfect plastic, then, out comes a bunch...
How portable are they really, it says that the pole is two pieces, but how easy is it to take apart and if taken apart too often will it fall apart?
The main reason I am asking is because I have an Innova Traveler that I keep in my car and use for random putting practice and an extra hole for...
I switched to the Judges after they released the Classic Blend plastic. I was throwing SS Voodoo's forever and the Classic blend is the closest to my favorite variety of SS plastic that Gateway had. The Classic was too close to the Gateway Medium, which I hated, and the Soft was like a SSS...
^ Agreed, my buddy was complaining that the Saint Pro was flippier then his normal Saint. Then he told me he had sanded off the flashing, and boy howdy did he and then some. The funny thing is he did the same thing with the F1 and had the same complaint:wall:
I also agree that weight and...
^ Because the purity of the sport is what brought us all together:D We all started somewhere, and of the 8 people 1 or 2 may actually play and help the sport. The reason most of us get to play in the first place is that it is open to everyone.
I enjoy the large groups most of the time, they...
On new courses I really need it. I think it is even more important when I am in a different area then what I am used to playing. I live in Idaho, and am used to playing there, when I went to Florida the first time my discs did very different things then I was used to. It was nice to see how...
Music doesn't bother me, but I know it bothers others. I have a set of speakers that I use when my group, and any around us say it is fine, but I always check. I also keep a set of headphones around in case the music does bother someone. I'm here for fun, but that doesn't mean I want to take...
I hit that line yesterday, all day
Oh my God that disc never turns over (when throwing an under stable disc)
That is why I play intermediate (I use this one all the time)
Iron leaf! (Not really used as an excuse, more of an exclamation, you have to call it out. Around here when it is said...
I agree
step 1 would be if people STFU during players meetings to listen to OB's, and special conditions. Had a situation in a tournament recently where a guy in another group threw his disc across a creek and across our fairway, a situation on a specific hole that was discussed at the players...
GL Core, mid 170's could be a good start. A couple people threw out the Buzzz SS which is solid disc for a number of shots. Westside Tursas is pretty amazing and what I've thrown of the Fuse I like.
I have been throwing my Blend Judges on a frozen wire lately at least 220 and I have...
I was getting close to a 150 for a minute, then I sold a bunch, and gave a few away, I'm still around 80, and most of those are backups in different weights and plastics. Since I have switched to trilogy plastics i buy less random stuff and more plastic that i will actually use.
ANNNND back to the topic…
I would love it if DGA set up at least some regional testing spot for these. Or maybe at least team up with DD and throw a couple on the chasing the chains tour to put them out there for folks to try.
I've thrown on the Arroyo, which I liked a lot, but I thought had...
