Best 9 Hole Course in the US

Selfless promotion but,as it sits now on this site, my private 9 hole course is rated the best US course. I've played few other top rated 9er, ( Lambs creek, Brickyard, Skare, etc.) The Pond still reigns in my eyes, haven't hit Linbrook or any east coast stuff though.

    Targets-in the scheme of things

I'll chime in here. I would down grade 20% for tones or poles and 10% for any "basket". In my eyes, I don't really knock a course to bad if they went out of their way to mimic a disc golf basket, the best they could. I didn't mind those planter baskets when I played Sugaree. At the Pond,I have...

    Movement in top 10

Ridge and silver creek is a good pairing that I'd chose mainly cause it's a quick run up 43 but, Zobel and Wilderness are a great pair too! Plus what you plan on hitting in the greater Milwaukee that's a pretty decent trip already.

how long does it take you to play a round

    How To Review Private Courses

Ok, I'll finally chime in!! As a course bagger and course owner, my rubric usually gets tweaked a bit in the fact that usually most private courses have that "atmosphere". You get to play with the owner and hear the stories about the progression of the course, talk design, disc golf and the...

Review by Shuie in course Spring Lake Church DGC

1.50 star(s) Decent course with a few Hazards. The course at Spring Lake is well designed for the beginner/ Intermediate player as most holes are under 250. Each hole offers shot shaping of some degree, with the last two really being the most open and really only require a long drive. Tee signs work well...

Review by Shuie in course Badger Park

3.00 star(s) Let's get technical Let's first talk about the evolution of this course. Started out as an extremely dangerous 9 hole course thrown around other park activities mainly some picnic areas, band shell and a rather large playscape. After this monstrosity caused much issue with other park goers...

Where are you going in 2022?

If you ever swing up towards Green Bay, I'd gladly show you around. I'd be down to meet at the Ridge or Winter Park. Green Bay's best course is Pamprin followed by Pinecrest. I have a private course https://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=3471 and have done a bit of designing around my...

    Insight on Maine??

I understand what you guys are saying about " Responsible Dog Owners" but, I myself being a dog owner and private course owner would gladly allow an individual who seems respectful enough to play. With that said to play my course you must contact me. I guess what I was getting at is if I...

    Insight on Maine??

So, I was thinking about trying to finally get up to the Northeast to play. I thought I'd start with Maine and scratch as many state off the list on the way back. Upon investigating more into the top rated courses, damn near all of them seem to have a no pet policy. Does anyone out there have...
