So I'm back to the drawing board, sometime over the last two months I've lost whatever it was I gained last year early and I can't figure it out so I'm done trying to guess. Back to the field, back to midranges and putters and standstills etc...

Here's what I think I see:

My forearm is NEVER parallel to my shoulders, Perhaps this is from too high of a reachback or too poor of a grip, or both. I think this has to be fixed first but I'm not sure.

There is a dip down that happens that gets corrected with a bounce up which leads to stupid nose up shots.

While my focus through the standstill shots was transferring weight properly from the inseem of my back foot to the front half of my body, it gets lost entirely when I try some sort of a run up, either the hop or the X step.

I'm still not pulling down the line and instead I'm hugging the body. I don't brace any weight so there is no resistance.

So there you have it - have at me, I need the help! I was getting mids out to 280-300 last fall and now I'm lucky to hit 250. I've screwed this up somehow and I am need of guidence!

Bend your knees and hips some and tilt your spine forward into athletic stance. You would probably be setup too close to the door frame as your shoulders aren't turned back enough. You also push off the rear heel as if you are setup too far away from the door frame.

Nose up shots are definitely the most frustrating for me! I feel your pain. Just have fun and relax....

I'm moving this thread from here... http://www.dgcoursereview.com/forums/showthread.php?t=112750

As this is more appropriate. Anyway, I've been trying to reach back lower and have been working on getting on my toes - this is easier on a stand still than on a run up, I can't seem to get off of my heals when I do a run up. Anyway, I'm not getting the elbow forward and my forearm is never, or rarely parallel with my shoulders. Here are a few throws from today, not my best but all that I got on camera.

no prob bsnone... next time just ask a mod to move it for you :)

You aren't keeping your body and shoulder closed enough during weight shift. You are opening it up and turning your head forward before you brace fully from behind you, and also you aren't bending/tilting forward enough in your hips so your chin should over your toes(easier to see in rear view).
