Well I hope he knows how to play politics.

Some residents have been worried about the environmental impact of the course and that trees would be cut down to build it.

This is the key here. People hear golf course and think we are going to make it ball golf. Disc Golf WANTS (and hits) trees. So hopefully I have good news tomorrow night.

Pioneer Park Disc Golf Tournament
What: Disc Golf Tournament
Where: Pioneer Park (Meet at Shelter #1 inside South entrance)
When: Saturday, March 15th
How: We have 18 temporary baskets that will be set up around the Park. No Holes over 300 ft!
Why: Because we just LOVE to play disc golf!

9:00am - 9:45am - Registration at shelter #1
10:00 - Players Meeting at shelter #1
10:15 - Tee Off first round
Noonish - 1 hour break for lunch (on your own)
1:00pm - Tee Off round 2
3:00ish - Awards
