Discgolfcenter.com- Free but slow shipping?

I ordered from them on Fri. 7/16

It shipped on Mon. 7/19

It says my package is on schedule to arrive on Mon. 7/26

I understand it waiting over the weekend to ship. But one whole week to arrive?

My marshall st. order was made on 7/19 and arrived on 7/21

I'm in CA and they are in Mass! That's fast.

I know you get what you pay for but has anyone else had that slow of shipping. I think i ordered once from them and it was 5 days. But MS has always been 3days coast to coast.

I was hoping to have it for this weekend. Oh well, just curious if this is normal.

It usually takes a long time for my orders to get to Chicago, but I think they're shipping time is fairly standard for ground shipping -- and it's free, so I can handle it.

It just seems like forever when you're waiting for that new plastic to come.

If they shipped it on 7/19 then its not their deal anymore.

talk to ups and ask why they are shipping it slow.

its out of discgolfcenter's hands once they ship it out their door.

I'm not complaining. I'm asking for others experiences. :thmbup:

When you check out you can select the shipping method you would like.

I have never had anything but prompt shipping.

They are from florida so shipping to Cali FOR THEM might take a while.

But as i stated before. Not DGcenter's fault. try blaming UPS

no one to blame. its USPS. not UPS. just comparing them to MS in Mass.

But I guess they are flying it from Mass probably.

On their site it says the UPS ground is the free shipping and they charge for any alternate method.

it is odd though that it will take that long.

I live in Indiana and i get stuff in about 2-4 days from anywhere in the usa

I ordered from them the same day as you, and have the same scheduled delivery date. They shipped it out already. Like someone said it's in UPS hands now.

oh I forgot, and yes it does take almost a week each time I order.

I order from them a lot and I'm in San Francisco. It takes a week usually. I love that it's free shipping and can pick exact color and weight. If you want quicker stuff, you can try Discovering the World out of L.A., but you pay for shipping. You can call them for weights and colors, very helpful.

Usually takes a week or more to GA from DGC, MS takes about 2.

I am not in a rush when i order discs so I can wait. People just need to learn to be patient. Its free shipping what do you expect. Its worth it to save the 8 bucks for shipping and handling.
