Favorite West Coast Mountain Courses

Ross - I am hoping to play China Peak this summer. I have heard great things. I have played the Tahoe area. It is awesome.

This. I never thought I'd get that tired walking down a hill.

Yeah, and after that 4 hour round we played the lower course, where you have to play uphill alot of it.

I slept hard that night, but I was pushing 60 y/o that summer, lol.

The Truckee courses are pretty great, also, if in the Tahoe area :)

Sierra College and the River Course

But definitely Kirkwood and Turtle Rock :D

I love rugged Western Mountain Disc Golf. Here are the ones I have played. I would go back and play every....single....one!

Byran Head, Utah First tee is at 10,920 feet
The Canyons - Park City, Utah
Solitude Mountain - Brighton, Utah

Grand Targhee Resort - Alta, Wyoming
Jackson Hole Mountain Resort - Wyoming

Sky High - Wrightwood, California
China Peak - Lakeshore, California

Hualapai Mountain Park - Kingman, Arizona

Diamond X - Billings, Montana. It is every bit as steep and rugged as the mountain ski resorts.

Lake Tahoe courses:
Kirkwood
Zephyr
Tahoe Vista
Sierra College.
Not sure I would call Turtle Rock at 5,500 feet a "mountain" course. But it is fun, rugged western disc golf.

I hope to play "all" the Colorado mountain courses someday.
