Hi everyone! I'm from WNC. I keep finding myself creeping on here and figured it was time to introduce myself. Ive been playing about 7 years now at a sub-rec level. When I started I vowed to never spend more than $100 total on this new hobby. I was keeping it super casual as a way to hang out with friends and drink in the woods.
About 5 years ago I had to take a year or so off because of a really bad broken leg/ankle. Most of my local courses are difficult terrain so I couldn't do a lot of DG. I slowly worked my way back up and now I have lost count how much I've actually spent on the sport. Almost all my free time last year was dedicated to improving my form and my overall game. I was hoping to do a few tournaments this year but the universe had different plans.
That's my story so far.
