Hi all!

Started playing 2 months ago, and I'm loving the game (and I love getting better!!!!). I have been working on my form a lot, but I know I have a long way to go. Getting 275' very consistently now with the occasional throw over 300'. My goal for RHBH is 400' in the next 60 days, and I wanna get my sidearm from 250' to 350' if possible. Can you help me get there? I've uploaded my current BH and FH. I know my BH reachback is weak in these and my left arm needs tucked in better, but my main struggle is getting more power from the legs. Can anyone help me please? I mainly uploaded these because they are a pretty accurate impression of what I normally throw. The first BH is with the Hatchet at about 275' (flat ground and no wind). The second shot was a personal Best at 365' with a GStar Roadrunner, but that is WAYYYY further than I normally throw.

Forehand video shows my current sidearm flexshot with a FD3 landing about 250' away (pretty average for me).. current personal best is 320' with a Star Beast.

How accurate are your longest throws? If they are not accurate I would work on that before adding distance.

I played with newer players before that could bomb it but we were in the bushes looking for their discs over 50% of the time. Don't be that guy and good luck.

--- I practice my throws towards a post in a field and almost always land within 30 feet of it. 275' is my average length but I can hit at least 8 of 10 shots within 30 ft. at that range. My home course is pretty wooded, so I am forced to practice accuracy quite a bit. Now I'm looking to add some range for longer courses.

Looks pretty good for 2 months.

BH - you lean back away from target too far back behind rear leg. Need to stay balanced/centered more inside your posture and let go your arm/disc with elbow leading forward.

FH - your left arm never clears back/tuck into body out of the way and aren't really bracing up on front leg. Your front knee leaks forward over your ankle.

Thanks for the help. I think overall, I'm getting better; my balance is definitely an indicator of if my shot is going well. I took a video of some more shots, if you could let me know what you think. I've especially noticed how nose-up my throws are going. Any help here? My forehand was hitting around 360' today, so I just decided to post on my Backhand right now.

Keep your body/right foot more forward addressed and then turn left/body foot away into x-step and keep turning back into plant.
