Is it normal?

Hand roll will cause OAT. I find rolling over to be hard on my elbow so I try to use shoulder plane manipulation instead. Roll under is a fun way to throw understable stuff far.

My best hyzer flipping disc is a nicely worn CE Valkyrie. It flies like no other disc I've ever thrown. Stages of wear play a HUGE factor in flight characteristic.

I had a similar experience where I added about 30' with my beat Champ Sidewinder when I was pulling through with extreme (for me) hyzer). The change left as suddenly as it arrived.

Hmm, well; I am discing down again and backing off the Predator. It flies great for me, but there is something I am missing. Im even going a step further and going with discs even easier to throw than the Teebird. I am seeing little hints in my throw while throwing these discs but I just cant master it while throwing them.

Think that Comet is going to get a lot of work coupled with putter rounds while I figure this out.

I put 3 Comets in my practice bag and throw them with 5 newish Rocs. 8 throws, I mix them up, no particular order. Out-back-out-back, over and over. They feel really close in the hand, but the Comets need to thrown just right. But when I translate this to the Rocs, boy, do they fly nice.

I recommend them just for practice, if nothing else.

I had been thinking about getting one for a long time, then would just use my putters; but found that unmarked 176 Z Comet that looked like new.

It was like Joan of Arc finding her sword. It was placed there by God for me to find.

Once I found out how to throw them, they really are nice. They fly slow, but seem to just glide forever, when you give them good clean spin. I don't the control (discipline may be a better word) to always throw them that way, though. But they serve as the reminder that it's about how smooth you throw, not how hard.
