I got 2 new KC Pro Aviars for Christmas this year and they are hard as a rock. Will they eventually break down and "soften" with wear? I threw one of my friends awhile ago and I don't remember it being this stiff

The JK Aviar is the soft big bead. The KC will stay pretty stiff. I used to carry one of each. They are both very fine putters used by many great players

the new "www." mold are mainly stiff......if you can get the slightly older san marino mold 12x they are soft and grippy...........i ran into this problem when i cracked one of my old ones and went and bought new .....i had to get some from the marketplace....

Like they said, the new mold with the flight numbers on top is stiff.

People pay lots of money for old 10x kc aviars because they are stiff! Now people want the older 11x aviars because they are not stiff!

the texture will soften but they stay pretty firm for a while, unless you are using them for driving. they can feel a little uncomfortable in the winter time, the cold exaggerates the slick finish and rigidity. maybe get yourself a JK or two and see if those work for you.

From what I understand they "wear in" over a long period time. I think I heard that Climo won't put a new back up in his bag until its spent a year or so in his back yard at his practice basket (natural sun, rain, and weather damage change the discs in a certain way).

I love my KC Pro Rocs, awesome discs.

Things remind me of dinner plates. I really wanted to like them for driving but really couldn't.

I was playing in 30 degree temp with a couple inches of snow. I might try a JK just for the hell of it

second that^ unless you have hands like Donkey Kong these discs feel pretty awkward. Could not find a consistent way to grip it so I replaced it with a different putter.

So you're saying he leaves them outside for a year? Interesting...

JK feels like sex, kc is stiff like Peter North, why not just switch to the polecat? Even Ken Clime Ho knows they are superior to the aviar.

Jews control Americas media. No wonder no one uses a polecat...

still trying to figure this out

Ima break it down for ya, jk is soft and sexy, kc is hard like Peter North (a pornstar know for large facials) called Climo Clime Ho cause he's an arrogant prick with oversized ears. Jews control our media, they don't want us using good discs like the polecat, if Americans consciousness ever evolved to using polecats and gophers what next, maybe we would stop killing innocent Palestinians on their behalf...
