[MVP] MVP Relay

Versatile disc for seasoned players AND a great disc for beginners.
Relay was just slightly under-stable for my low powered arm. Perfect mix of flexibility and grip with this Neutron blend too.

I'm running a MVP Circuit event with one of the three player pack discs having an exclusive Skulboy stamp.
I will be shipping player's pack and any additional discs to people who sign up and let me know they won't be attending. If it fits in a Med Priority box, I'll ship for $10 (usually $12) to offset the Disc Golf United sign up fee.

Skulboy's MVP Circuit

I used the Relay on most throws today for 11 holes. I'm falling in love with this disc. Straight when thrown from a touch of hyzer, and a nice turn when ripped flat. It's fast, too. I got 280 on a drive, and 260 from a standstill on a frozen rope, giving me a rare par look on one of the longest holes. It was actually longer than I anticipated and it went past the basket and behind the guardian tree, so I missed the putt. Either way, I'll reinforce that the Relay is killer for a one disc round. And it's also great for small hands. I'd hope they can run these in lighter weights for kiddos and women too.

After about 5 or 6 rounds with the Relay at different courses I'm getting it dialed in and really like it. It's flight is most similar to me as my fr Volt. Very usable in tight wooded holes, haven't got to try it on big open holes so we'll see how that goes. Going in the bag for sure. The way it flips up late from a steep hyzer and keeps tracking left (LHBH) is pretty sweet to watch. Controlably understable

Have you guys been throwing this disc, or are most of you still waiting on the Circuit? I'm curious to hear some other reviews, 'cause I sure am in love with mine.

Sunday and I cant wait....to throw an understable fairway on a longish hilly course...:\

Seriously though there are a couple holes I wanna try a roller on. Also wanting to try the plasma tangent. Have they tinkered with the plh on those too? I have been having a love hate relationship with my theory lately so maybe this could give me an option there.

I like the way you're thinking here. When I'm on with the Theory, it's like the greatest invention since free porn pizza. :D When I'm off with it, it's like being in the disc golf wing of the 3rd ring of Dante's Hell. And my approach to discs like that is more in the "buy 3-4 more and go throw them until you get it" school.

Maybe the Plasma Tangent is where it's at. Now I'm almost more excited about that than a killer, pearly, color-shift Tesla.

I felt up a pink plasma tesla the other day.....

Man it was almost a copy of the pink pearly volt I just sold. Pink marble might actually be a better description.

Man the relay is a weird disc. I found it to be more like a switch than an inspire, and very sensitive to nose angle.

Played a circuit event today. Love the Relay. It is what I wanted the Inspire to be. I will no longer miss my leopards at all. Such a great disc.

Absolutely. The more this gets into players' hands, the more of this we'll see. Loving my Relay every round.

I've said it before but I'm still most impressed by this disc and I haven't even thrown it. Mad props to mvp for making a disc in this truly underappreciated speed range.

Yeah, I truly didn't see just how much I missed a disc like this until yesterday.

That brings up my questions: how is a Relay like and unlike a Switch? Are they far enough apart that I should consider getting both, or would the Switch be adequate? (BTW, I already have an Amp.)

The more time I put in with the relay the more I regret that previous review. The Circuit I played was at a course with elevation and may be the reason I was seeing so much nose sensitivity. When throwing this disc on more flat anny type holes, it performs great. If you have the money to spend on both to find out which you like better I would go that direction. But if you can get one, I think it depends on how your bag is set up. If you get above average distance with mids, then maybe the switch would be better because of the wider speed gap. But if your like me and struggle getting mids past 300(except for the plasma tangent. I can throw this thing farther than any mid I have owned) then the relay is the one.
