[Question] QR Code hotstamp?

Anyone know if a QR code would work as a hotstamp? Would it only work on white discs? obviously over time it'd fade and not work, but I'm interested anyway.

I'd think it would work. Probably on lighter colored discs, yellows and light blues and the like.

Gateway does this on their minis. The mini color does not matter, but you have to choose your stamp color wisely (i.e. darker foils). They work great! Give them a call and they will hook you up with a good package deal...

In addition, a QR code can be customized about 30% and still get a valid read. Readers will adapt. So in theory, the entire stamp could be a QR code, altered with some design elements. http://mashable.com/2011/04/18/qr-code-design-tips/
