The Dye A Day Thread!

Got bored/inspired and thought it'd be a good idea to learn how to cut and dye. Had an urethane resin colored CE Valk (3rd run?) I can never find that was the victim. Dyed it yellow first. Still need to add a saying around the edge when I have time, maybe dye the face red. Everyone doing complicated work and talking process sure made it easy to figure out. Thanks.

Photobucket is easy Will, under (or near) the image will be a "share this photo" box with 4 lines, one of which is "direct link". Clicking that will copy the link, come back to your DGCR post and click the image icon, paste in your link and you're embedded.

Did the red one yesterday - Star TL. You can see some weird lines in it from the flash... Before dying the Hagakure in there, I attempted to make the symbol the entire size of the disc... found it hard to line up properly, and I was pretty high when I started it and cut it very poorly. The lines you see are from the first cut.

Black came out mega black! W00t!

Can I ask what you are using to gut those circular lines so well (especially when you are spacing them)?

I've been using an all purpose compass to hold a swivel head Xacto but the blade wants to walk badly.

I just got this in the mail from Arroyo Disc Sports. You can still see the stamp somewhat, and I was hoping for the disc to be green(er), but I still like the job. I'm giving this to my best friend when I ask him to be my best man.
