OK, let's hear/see some words, terms & phrases you and your friends say/use on the Disc Golf course!

I will start it off.

What do people call it when someone in your group want to take a second shot off the tee (that doesn't count) just to see "what would have happened" if they used a different disc?

Hits Tree = Screams Obscenity!
Rolls away from basket = Screams Obscenity!
Perfect throw = Victoriously Screams Obscenity!

they say "i'm taking a provisional"...

if they don't...well glad you saw where that went...too bad you just added a penalty stroke for taking practice shots.

last year it was cool to say "Utah!" for close approaches...
that evolved from "Park City" which was to describe the same thing...(Park City, Utah)
which evolved from "Parked" to describe the same thing.

One Disc Wonders

A. Play with a Wham-O
B. Play with one disc,. maybe 2 if they have a clue.
C. Sometimes see them in groups of 6 or more
D. When in a group, more than one throwing at the same time is not unusual
E. Might be all of the above.

These comments are said in fun, and just observations.
Hey, at least they are out playing disc golf.

Grike, a local Virginia term for an annie that doesn't flatten out and lands on its right edge (assuming RHBH shot) and takes a hard roll to the left.

Saw an Angel - refers to throwing a disc with severe nose up angle, which lifts high into the air and crashes to earth
