DGPT: 2019 Waco Annual Charity Open presented by Dynamic Discs

Kinda sad that we could have some really good coverage. I really don't enjoy the live streams nor the edited coverage. Watching discgolf should be fun, not a chore.

The missing FPO foursome is showing up now. All 18 holes at once, with all the UDisc detail. It would be interesting to find out what happened.

Sorry, meant *without* the detail -- what you see below the scores when you click on the player.

Maybe someone bumped the "airplane mode" button and did not notice. :D

Yeah, I mean for 18 holes (3 hours?) no one noticed? No one could help with an update?

Ricky and Grady Shue with hot starts, -8 through 10.

It feels like Rick is due to win one. His putting has been just a smidge off this year and last year and that has been the difference maker. Still good, just not best putter on the tour good.

There must be some truth to this course playing well for lefties/forehands. Jerm is consistently awesome at this course. I imagine Ricky busted out his forehand some today, too.

Say what you will about the DGPT and it's media coverage... I'm just glad the tournaments have four rounds. I think it makes them more compelling to watch and makes the outcome that much more significant. I hope we have more.

I'm enjoying the live DGPT broadcasts less and less. It just feels like it's lot it's connection with the viewing fans. Hard to explain...

I like hearing all the producer and camera operator chatter in the live feed. It reminds me of the old days of watching direct network feeds with a ginormous 12' C-band satellite dish.

Did the wind die completely or something? How is a 1022 rated Jerm walking away from guys 20+ points above him in rating. This is awesome and I hope he can keep it up. A three-peat would fun. He's positively colorblind... refuses to believe in the existence of the color orange *smile*... good lord, no OB?
And what happened to A. Barela?

Insane that -15 down starting to be the norm, we need new courses for the top pros

If -15 is the low score every round this weekend, I'd be more inclined to call it a "norm". But for one round, it doesn't mean a lot. Koling averaged -11 to win each of the last two years (-34 and -33 for three rounds). That seems reasonable to me.

I know this course looks and feels a lot more like what NT/DGPT level tournaments should be played on, especially compared to the first two events of the season. Even if the hot scores are ridiculously good. Seeing the first round leader shoot a 52 rather than a 40 just feels more appropriate for this kind of tournament regardless of what it is relative to par.

Is anyone else really bothered by hole 15? I have no issue with the OB but all those metal bars and thingys in the middle of the fairway is just...stupid. Was there really no other spot to put another hole? I'd had to play a tourney with all that garbage in the middle.

Or am I just being neurotic again?

Clear sign of neurosis.
