[Innova] The mythical Innova ROC

Those look pretty sweet! Where will they be available?

Says at the top of the page that new items begin shipping June 19th. Note that that is shipping to dealers not shipping to customers. Probably within a week of when they start shipping to dealers, you will start seeing them pop up on disc sites/stores.

Word. Could be one I sold. I had four of these but switched to the 2016 glow lucha roc. Flatter and not quite as OS, perfect for my noodle.

Well I got out to rearrange my buddy's farm course earlier. Ended up throwing either the champ roc or a 6-7/10 KC pro roc on most of my tee shots (the course is mostly 250-380' holes.) this champ roc is great! Just the right amount of overstable, less than a mellow gator, more than a KC pro. I can mash on it for clean 280-300' flights that finish left of center and don't delicate much in tow wind at all. Sweet disc for sure and I think I throw rocs about as long as my drivers now.

Recently I acquired my first Champ Ranchos. While opening the box and bubble mailer, I felt like a kid on Christmas morning. My DX and KC Rocs are now seasoned from laser straight to gradual turn, which made throwing a fresh Champ Roc seem like throwing a completely different disc. Really like how they fly. Glad to have them in my stash.

My main midrange setup for quite some years has been Rocs in different stages of wear. I occasionally take Rocs out of my bag. I always end up replacing them with a few Roc3s & a Mako3. In the last tournament I participated in I used the Roc3/Mako3 combo. I shot a 981 & a 972 rated round. I still always come back to cycling Rocs though. Every time I come back, I always regret leaving. It's like having a relationship with a women that you always come back to after you break up. Well...I'm back to cycling three KC Rocs again, with a USDGC Rancho Champion for my overstable stuff. A seasoned Roc is such a magical disc. I hope I never stop cycling Rocs ever again. I have so many backups, I should never find a reason to try out any other midrange mold ever again.

Anyone throwing the Luster 30th Anniversary Rocs yet? How do they fly, feel, etc?

I have a honey colored 30th Anni Roc

It has a smooth dome, really comfortable grip and grippy feel.

These are some nice flying Rocs. No turn and a reliable, yet not beeftastic fade.

Id say they're more OS than any Dx Rancho I've thrown but not by a huge margin. They have solid glide for a premium mid, too.

If you can get over the mental apprehension that these are Sanny Rocs.... Youll love them. They make an awesome bookend for a Roc cycle. Nicely OS without stealing shots from your Gator, Zone, etc.

Any one have any insite on the Taurus from Millenium yet. Early word is that it is a Rancho Roc with a spacer or what is being called the RocX. Millenium says that it is not as OS as a Sentinal but if it a rancho roc with a spacer then I would think it would be. I also remember Dave Dunipace talked about how people have been wanting a more OS roc for a while and they molded one up and called it the Bull but it never came into production so maybe this could be that.

I just made your 2nd round go down, sorry. Noticed that all the scores were rated the same between divisions for the second round when they shouldnt have been. All the Open scores went up by 10 and everybody elses went down 10.

Is the RocX the same as a RocX3 but with the Rancho top instead of the Roc3 top or were you referring to the RocX3? I have a RocX3, and I don't think from the few throws I've had with it that it was quite as OS as a Sentinel. Then again, my experience with Sentinels is pretty limited; I've thrown a couple of the Brinster Sentinels in the past and that's about it. Maybe I should dig one of them out and throw it side by side with the RocX3 to see.

I see what they did there.
