I got to work on this bag and help Academy bring it to the market. It was a cool experience to help intertwine the market on a new level. The higher ups for sure just took a note of the success. I did get word that more bags of the same run will be back up soon. Before Christmas for sure.

I have never heard a negative thing about them really. I think they get the market and the business aspect of disc golf. I met the owner when he came in for world doubles 2 years ago. Really nice family guy who is on the right track. Cool brand that puts out a good vibe and great products.

I am a firm believe in "You get what you pay for." So if I could also see the $60 worth of improvements over other bags, I might sway. For those of you who just got them in, what are the things that separate it from the rest of backpacks?

Even at $60+ it's more than I would personally want to pay. I like all aspects of the bag though. Just not in my wheelhouse for price range.

I love the look, style, and features of this bag. I just can't get over the price! At $260 it's almost $100 more than the going rate for backpacks now day. Either way, much improved from the first run and if they do a holiday sale like Grip I may pull the trigger and increase the backpack...

I think of it as supporting an awesome disc golf business as well.

I know it's "just" a water bottle but I bought this one and it's super legit. HUKLAB Perfect size and I use it for work everyday as well. It keeps cold stuff cold and hot stuff hot. Just thought I would share. :hfive:

I'm pretty sure the Hyzerbomb Veteran IS the Eagle-X in champion plastic. It's a nice disc and I'm still getting used to it.

In reference to the DG market... If this bag was introduced as an $80 bag by, lets say "Voodoo or Hyzerbomb", it would sell just as well financially. It's still adequate to a $40 Innova bag with $30 straps. I think people miss the point of this bag, it's not in competition with Grip. You want...

It would be one thing if this was a first time issue. Dating back to his Physical Flight days... it's not mistakes, it's just his character and it's showing once again.

The more you make in one color, the cheaper the bag price is overall. The next run may feature new colors, but this order was so big... they should be stocked for awhile.

Totally. However, not too sure you need to or want to. Once you check the bag out you will be surprised how well it stands up. The frugal golfer won't mind this. The person who is familiar with competitor backpacks will maybe upgrade just because it's still really cheap to do so. You can get...

It's not earth shattering information but the initial prejudice to the bag can easily be cleared up. I think everyone hears "backpack" and thinks $200+ tour bag(thanks grip :mad:). At $30 it is what it is and all of that took several details to get it to a fine line for this saturated boring...

You won't have to worry about the bottom. It has two rails underneath and is probably the most secure place on the bag.
