Of course I prefer the way the course was designed to be played, it's like an album. 18 is a way better finishing hole than 9 and it's not even close. 9 won't be the same anyway with some tweaks to the design.

18 has everything you could want in a finishing hole. Requires distance, some RH fade and controlled landing off the tee. Narrowing fairway as you approach the protected green. Birdie opportunity if you have the arm and can execute really well, par feels well-earned, and bogey potential lurks.
And nice views as you're walking down the fairway.
