Pros:
Tee's are marked fairly well although many of the signs are in poor shape and at least 18 is missing.
You want to work on Distance, this is your course.
Cons:
Long holes because there isn't much to work with out here.
Why has no one added inside chains to these old mach I baskets?
Other Thoughts:
First off, let me say it was pretty windy the day I played. I wound up throwing my wind driver on nearly every hole.
Nice course map at hole 1, make sure you either take a map with you or memorize a few key places that can be hard to navigate without the map, although there are "next" tee signs in a few spots.
When I play a course, I only play the tee's with the tee signs. Therefor I only played the "Gold" course. I swear almost every hole was about 400 to 500 foot. I am not a long thrower so this means I was putting 3 on most holes. HOWEVER unless you have a drop in, you are going to get a lot of spits and passthoughs. The Mach 1 is not designed for hard putting. I bet I had 9 spits today.
I hate mando's, I have always thought it is because of poor course design. The 2 mando's here are only to make the course a little harder. Although hole 5 is to keep you from throwing over the parking lot. There is zero reason for a mando on hole 7 except to force a turnover shot (for righties)
The real test of a course is if I would ever play here again.
the answer to that question is NO, I see no reason to ever play this course again. I would rather go pitch and putt over at Cameron.
