Course map here on dgcourse review is out of date. Tee 1 is now to the south of the glass building.
Installed in August of 2010, this 18 hole course has trees in play on most holes with elevation adding a bit of extra challenge on hole #9. Nestled in the interior of the park between the James Family Conservatory and Ruth Giger Memorial Waterway, several walking paths and water features come into play. The back 9 holes stretch around wild, native grasses and gentle rolling hills. Disc rental is available at the Peter Kiewit Lodge.
Each hole is well-marked with distances to three possible basket placements, and the hole number is etched into the concrete pad. The course is designed to give a challenge to experienced players, yet easy enough to allow beginners and families to enjoy the sport.
I-80 between Lincoln and Omaha, exit 426. Take Hwy 66 a quarter mile to park entrance (entrance fee $8 for out of state required). Park near the James Family Conservatory, and look for the 1st tee behind the glass building near the flag.
