That’s a Walking Trail, not a Fairway 2+ years

Pros:
An Eagle Scout project with short and unbelievable woods holes.
-Amenities: The signs and baskets are really nice. Very good Prodigys, and the hole maps on the signage are strangely accurate. There's also a map/rules of the game board at the start that's thorough. This makes for a pleasing atmosphere.
-Flow: The navigation is pretty excellent. Even though it's not mapped on UDisc, I had zero issues at all figuring out where the next tee is.
-Beauty: I mean, who doesn't like lush woods?
-Quick Play: Super short for the bagger on a time crunch.
-Fun Factor: Whenever a course is mostly under 150' holes, there's potential for acing, right? Well, perhaps. I'll talk below about how absurd the disc golf lines are, but that laughableness actually makes this kind of a fun course. If you're ready for it, it can be fun to try ridiculous, never-before-attempted approaches to getting a disc to do what it's not designed to. I could see all sorts of creativity out here. One of my favorite moments in my round was when I completely ignored the ridiculous right-turning fairway for (7) and instead threw a plinko RHBH hyzer that landed within 15' of the basket.
-Reasonable Holes: I want to give credit where it is due and note that (2), (5), (8), and (9) are all reasonable if extremely tight traditional disc golf holes. I could see ace runs on these if you nailed the smooth curve just right.

Cons:
Probably the most absurd course I've ever seen.
-Hole Shapes: Totally bogus. (1) and (7) are literal 90 degree right turns. A tree bank might be the most reasonable play on these. (3) has a nice left turn then right turn shape, but at only 200' long, I don't know a single disc that can maneuver that quickly. (6) has a mando that creates basically a 90 degree left turn that, again, I don't know how to handle (flick roller hoping for a Barsby-esque tree root ace?). The remaining holes are all extremely tight and will require some magic to park or ace. These would be great shapes for a course anywhere between 2 and 4 times longer than it actually is, but when the holes are this short and this tight, they become laughably impossible.
-"Tees": 2x2 concrete pavers aren't really useful. A layer of mulch over the mud would be much more useful than a tiny island of concrete.
-Too Many Trees: As Moose noted, this course could definitely be higher rated with some dedicated removal of trunks. Widen the fairways substantially, and this is a nice beginner woods course. As is, beginners who play here might well throw away their discs after the round.
-Safety: Again echoing Moose, a couple of holes could be in danger from bad kicks next door.
-Drainage: There were several spots with bad mud when I visited.

Other Thoughts:
Fish Creek is very short, very tight, and has a design that is entirely unrealistic given those first two traits. I applaud the sentiment, but more trees need to be taken down, and possibly some pins slightly moved, to make a beginner-friendly woods course a reality. As is, I think Bad is a pretty fitting adjective, although it could be an enjoyable round of plinko for players passing by.
